i don't give a flying pigs intestine how bored the media is. their job is to report news not make crap up in a LOOK AT ME fashion.

sick and tired of the drama the media creates and the insane desire far too many people have to get sucked in by it time and time and time again.

We live in the Bryan Williams era. Not only are reporters and anchors corrupt...but far worse are the execs at the highest level who have zero interest in maintaining any integrity. Who is more guilty? A serial liar like Williams or NBC News who has known for years of BW's lying ways...and done nothing?!?

Sadly it's the same throughout the media. Lies, agendas and corruption are as bad there as with politicians.

Maybe it's a video of last year's JAX game. As beatings go, what Dez did to that secondary was pretty brutal if I recall correctly.

He also beat the snot out of one Bradley Fletcher in Philly........ (Will Ferrel voice) It was glorious.

Where did you see that they are offering him $13M a year (not the $13M for one year)? The crazy part about them Franchising him is that it actually HURTS the cap this year. Signing him long term could significantly lower his CAP hit this year. For a $13M cap hit, you could conceivably sign both Dez and DeMarco. It all comes down to 2 words folks - GUARANTEED MONEY!!!!!!!!

It was discussed as if they knew the details on the Break yesterday. Supposedly, the bonus + salary of the long term deal offered by the Cowboys was in the 13M range and actually more than the franchise tag (by a small amount). According to Eatman and Eagleton, Dez's agents want a 16M avg. There were no details regarding howmuch was guaranteed thoguh, so odds are that's a big sticking point too (as you mentioned).

16M is too much. Can we just get him to 13.5 with 30-40 guaranteed and end this charade that he won't be a Fitzgerald and play with Dallas for life?

The problem these guys don't anticipate is how fans have been trained to move on. Even the biggest Dez fans, and I am one, can watch the combine or look down the list of FAs and convince themselves they can get 80% of the production for 20% of the cost. The longer it lingers the worse the player looks for turning down 80-100m even if it is only 20m guaranteed.

Fans will almost always side with the team over the player.

I was all for the 13 apy and 30- 40 million guaranteed. But if he wants 16 apy, see ya later dez. This ain't baseball Roc nation, we have a salary cap to adhere to.

Terrible journalism.

Florio is SO many female body parts I can't utter on this site. He is gutless.

The media lives to support controversy and misinformation. Hide it behind " perky", "worldly" or any other buzzword they use to describe themselves and their profession , and they fool a great deal of non thinking people.

Colin Coward acTed as though he knew of the video months ago but didn't want to be the first to report it. Typical. I'm ready for this to blow over, I'm hoping this wasn't planted to derail the contract talks
