Oh. So you finally see what I see. Awesome!

Are you agreeing with me that AP is not ever going to be a Dallas Cowboy because reality has finally set in?
Do you have any concrete evidence to the contrary?

For the love of Abigail Ratchford, can someone... anyone at Twitter increase Peterson's message limit to 2 million characters? It's like the guy is tweeting umpteen tiny manifestos.

Whooa. AP is not backing down. Going to make waves for quite awhile.

At this point, he needs to pull a Ratliff.

And pull all those Vikes pix he has on twitter.

Well that escalated quickly.

The writing has been on the wall since last year. He felt MINN abandoned him and he hasn't got over it.

He brought a lot on himself but some wounds don't get healed, especially when the main "traitor" got promoted by MINN.

The best thing for everyone is to part ways. We saw this with Ratliff and Orton.

The ongoing saga between the Minnesota Vikings and Adrian Peterson took another turn Thursday, as the Pro Bowl running back took to Twitter to express his frustration with NFLcontract structures and ostensibly his own deal in Minnesota.

Peterson bemoaned the one-sided nature of NFL deals, which he says do not offer the same freedom to players as they do to teams:

Peterson's stream of consciousness comes after he skipped organized team activities this week amid ongoing strife with the Vikings. It's beenwidely reported for months that Peterson wants out of Minnesota, citing the organization's lack of support during his child-abuse case last year.

Peterson was limited to one game last season after the team placed him on the commissioner's exempt list and then suspended him for a situation involving his four-year-old son.

The situation since Peterson's reinstatement has devolved into an ongoing back-and-forth, often in the public specter. The Vikings have consistently maintained they would not trade or release Peterson, a stance echoed by head coach MikeZimmer earlier this week.

“Adrian, he’s really got two choices," Zimmer said, per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. “He can either play for us or he can not play. He’s not going to play for anybody else. That’s just the way it’s going to be.’’

Peterson, who responded to Zimmer's quote by telling ESPN's Josina Anderson that his absence was about "securing [his] future" with the Vikings, seemingly had a change of heart a day later:

The Vikings are scheduled to pay Peterson $12.75 million next season. By all accounts, they plan on paying him—happy or not. Peterson may have a point about the general structure of NFL contracts, but it appears the only person not honoring his agreement this time is him.

This saga has seen many twists and turns, so odds are this is far from the last we'll hear from Peterson or the Vikings. But, at this point, nothing appears to be changing. The more pointed quotes are tossed back and forth between both sides, the worse their seemingly inevitable working relationship will be in 2015. Perhaps it's best if Peterson and the Vikings take this out of the public eye and back behind closed doors.

Mike Zimmer should have kept his mouth shut. Because his comments made it seem personal. In fact, the entire organization is acting like its personal, like they are butthurt over Peterson's actions. But the truth is, they didn't handle the situation well and they didn't support or back Peterson and Peterson felt abandoned by them and obviously they are crappy communicators.

Most organizations would have been working their butts off behind the scenes trying to orchestrate a trade before this had a chance to escalate. But the Vikings are being short sighted. How in the WORLD is Peterson going to help this team even if he plays? It will be a locker room cancer to have your best player hating your coach and GM.

The Vikings could have easily gotten a 1st or maybe a little more and called it a DAY. Imo, they have completely mishandled this situation.

Lets me break it down because it is incredibly funny to me....

You are indeed correct. The whole organization is butt hurt and irritated. They have tried mightily to avoid letting that be made apparent in the public eye but Senor Zimmer busted the can wide open.

They're butt hurt and irritated at the very real possibility that Herschel Walker trade part deaux could go down and it just makes their chutes tighten beyond their wildest imagination.
