My question is, does he get "hurt" now and still make his money while sitting on the bench a la Jay Ratliff?

Yeah, it looks like this might finally be the end of the conversation. A sad day for some of us and a glorious one for others. Either way, it made for some great debates and interesting conversations for me.

Ye of little faith........I kid I kid

Seriously though, showing up to OTAs on June 2nd to get 250k is a long way from a resolution

Does anyone think Dez is signed because he showed up the other day????

Looks like this saga is over

I still find it hard to believe that Minny is going to pay AP $15 million this year

Why I wouldn't rule out a trade until the trade deadline.

Vikings Schedule:
@ San Fran - L
Detroit - /
San Diego - L
@ Denver - L
Bye
Kansas City - leaning L
@ Detroit - /
@ Chicago - W

If they end up going 2-5, I think they pull the trigger on a trade to get a first round draft pick for next year rather than finish the year and then have to pay Peterson what? 15 million dollars next year? His value will be highest during the regular season. I think the chances of a trade are still pretty good, as long as the Vikings playoff hopes are dashed early enough.

He's really not built like a regular RB, is he?

I guess not... I have never paid close enough attn until he inked a deal with us. Those chicken legs just jumped right out at me in that pic.

I respectfully but completely disagree with this. Jerry Jones basically came out and offered Dallas' 1st rounder for next year, but that was to get Peterson now, not halfway through the season. And come week one, his $13 million is guaranteed so you would have to pay him more than what he had remaining on that deal in any renegotiation.

Once the season begins, the value and attractiveness of Adrian Peterson will plummet. By the trade deadline and, worse yet for 2016, he wouldn't be worth more than a 4th rounder.

He's built like a track runner rather than an NFL running back. Maybe that's why he's had such a history of injury?

Yeah, AP will be a Cowboy next season if
Randle sucks
McFadden slips on a banana peal
Jerry is caught at another strip club
Peterson has a fall off
Romo doesn't get killed
RB market looks bad
Stephen is drunk
ISIS controls Iraq

I completely agree here. The golden window is closing fast.

Interesting. In contrast, Ryan Williams and Randle both look the part. Let's hope all three contribute something...
