sf49rh8r said:I'd guess a 4th or 5th rounder....his injury history would come in question.
Doomsday101 said:You may be right that could be all that anyone at this time would offer and that is not worth doing. As I said I don't think Jones is going to get traded but again at the right price almost every guy can be traded.
sf49rh8r said:Simple question...mid way through the season...who will be the go to guy? MBIII or JJ?

Just bustin your chops man......it's all goodsf49rh8r said:Just a thought....and now a comment from Mr. Y...for little ol' me....must be too many mai tai's and mojitos....
Doomsday101 said:You want a simple answer to a difficult question. I think playing time will be dictated by productions. I could see Barber getting more carries within a game if he is having a very good game but I think Jones is the starter for the most part.

silver said:gotta admit after watching the game last night Julius & Barber look exactly the same. Don't know why anybody would prefer one over the other. and Tyson looks like the real deal going against third stringers. But...having said that, knowing the injury history of Jones in the short time he's been here, i wouldn't trade him away and doubt we could recoup our original investment of a second rounder in return.
sf49rh8r said:Intelligent and well stated. ...but i do disagree. I believe that MBIII will move ahead of JJ by midseason. And this thread is no more idiot than changing your starting quarterback because the back up as a good preseason game. It it comforting to know that Romo has progressed and I'm not totally scared S___tless if something happens to Bledsoe
Doomsday101 said:For me it is about who is getting the job done. Both backs are going to be part of the offense regardless of who is starting or not. I think BP made a very good point the other day when talking about these young RB coming out of college in that so few teams now days use 1 primary back and that most schools are putting out RB who are not guys who can carry the load of 25 to 30 carries a game so it is important to have 2 good backs on your team sharing the load and I think we have that with Jones and Barber
5Stars said:Of course a team needs two, you are right...maybe even three or four, so Parcells is not getting rid of JJ anytime soon...Why would he?

Doomsday101 said:I don't think he will either but as I said if the right offer was made then yes I think most guys could be traded even Jones. Are you telling me that there is no offer worth trading Jones? Like an uncle of mine once told me everything I have is for sell at the right price, you just may not be able to afford my price. :laugh2:
