Running backs??? JJ as trade bait...

I don't think he will either but as I said if the right offer was made then yes I think most guys could be traded even Jones. Are you telling me that there is no offer worth trading Jones? Like an uncle of mine once told me everything I have is for sell at the right price, you just may not be able to afford my price. :laugh2:

I was thinking the Jets to be honest....CMart is probably done. And JJ would have been a better option to them rather than Kevan Barlow or Suggs...I guess it was a question of how desperate the Jets are.

Oh yeah, can somebody call Tirico and tell him the man's name is Copper not Cooper!!!

It might not matter the way some of the other WR are playing right now.

JJ should be given one more season to prove himself. There isn't much that can be done about him now, anyways, so might as well let him attempt to prove himself for one more season. Either one he will increase his value to the team, and be worth more in a trade, or Parcells leaves and the new regime comes in and moves players around. Either way I doubt he is the long term answer you are looking for at the RB spot. Injury prone this early is not what you want.

you cannot call someone injury prone that got his ankle rolled up on and the shoulder tackle that happened two years ago... Those high ankle sprains take a long time to heal..... I guess by your reasoning Crayton is injury prone as well? Lets go way back.... Dan Marino... How many achilies injuries did he have? At LEAST two... would you consider him injury prone????

is clinton injury prone because he's hurt his shoulder a couple of times!

He may not be injury prone but he is well aware of the time he has missed in his 1st 2 years and understand that if it continue it will become a factor. Injuries are no ones fault but teams are not going to pay out big money for RB who miss a lot of time.

Marino? Achilles injury??? Did it effect his gazelle-like mobility? Just kidding.

JJ has had very bad luck - well, maybe not VERY bad luck since he has not gotten a KNEE injury. BUt still he needs his luck to change. And some decent blocking.

I don't see JJ being traded unless we get an offer we can't refuse. Anybody is trade bait for the right price but doesn't make much sense for another team to do that.

BP has always believed in running a multiple back offense. Doesn't usually use just one back to carry the load. Even going back to NYG days, he used multiple backs. (Carpenter, Morris, Wolfoolk, Galbreath 84-85), (Morris, Adams, Rouson, Carthon , Anderson 86-90)

Pats (Russel, Stephens, Vaughn, 91-93), (Butts, Martin, Meggett. 94-96),

Jets(Murrell, Martin, Parmlee, Anderson, Johnson, 97-99).

Now here with Dallas, he's developing the same thing.

I love Jules ,he is just so jeckyl and hyde.I dont understand that.

Although it's my thread I don't want to see JJ traded either. And I hope he stays healthy and is successful. If our line developes into a solid unit all will be right in Cowboy land. I think we have three backs with major upsides...what a great problem to have.

I know where he is coming from dooms..... I just don't like the term "injury prone"...... I tore my acl, mcl and meniscus when a fat out of shape tird fell on my knee after I scooped up a fumble.... I missed many games because of it! That along with other injuries caused by others falling on me doesn't make me injury prone. Having someone that outweighs you by 100 pounds fall on you awkwardly isn't your fault!

He isn't prone.....just unlucky hey its Portis's turn now......Only person the skins can blame is themselves for packing 4 years worth of touches into 3 seasons.

Other team not wearing pants?

I agree with you and the misuse of the term injury prone in relation to Julius. A cracked scalpula? How's that injury prone? High ankle sprain? I hear that alot, every year, across the board.

MB3 does seem to run with more passion. He fights for every yard.
