I think it's like you're a QB working out and Ware says he's coming to check you out at a tryout. I don't think it's even slang, it's just like he's saying the steaks just got raised.

Completely agree with everyone about Dez. Its cool to see a player who really cares about this team getting better. Im stoked he will be on this team for a long time.
