I'm guessing both players were brought in to be examined by team Dr, nothing more. They are vet players I'm sure the coaches know everything they need about their talent. What's the reported status of their injuries? Are they both completely healed?

There is a lot of science out there that suggests players are no different 1 to 2 years after injury, not all players but most. Treatment and age also have a impact, but not the carrier ending injury it use to be.
