***Safety Taylor dead at 24***

This breaks down all walls and surpasses all rivalries ..... We are all Sean Taylor fans today.

Rest in Peace Sean Taylor. You will never be forgotten by your biggest rivals.

Sean is a part of our family. Part of the NFL family, the world family, and God's family. Our brother. Rest in peace brother.

Sean may your soul find the peace in the next world that it was never able to find in this world.

What a terrible day. This is by far the saddest day in Commanders History.

Well said.
R.I.P. Sean Taylor

I hope that when they find the SOB who is responsible, they forgo the judicial process and just shove him feet first into a woodchipper

I've can't remember anything like this happening. I'm a Maryland Alumni, and was still really young when Bias died. But that was different.

I mean, what can I do? Take my Taylor jersey to work and hang it outside my office?

I know its just a game. But, how do players put it all together and play in 6 days?

I'm thinking this ol' Cowboys fan will be pulling for the Skins in their next game... just because...

Very sad news. Prayers go out to all the family and friends.

No doubt ...... its gonna be hard to get up enough anger to want to beat them in a few weeks.

Its truly hard to believe that this 24 year old man, a few years from being a child himself, is brutally murdered in his own home.

Tragic does not even describe this.

I feel incredible sadness for someone I didn't know but in whom I had great respect. I pray that the Lord will be with his young daughter and family.

Truly tragic situation.

Rivalries and team loyalties aside, Taylor was the kind of hard hitting player that made watching football fun.

RIP
