Salute, Demarcus Lawrence!

LOL...you still trotting out the BS supposed injury excuse for Lawrence again? You did the same thing for Zeke......stop with the BS excuses just to protect your overpaid underperforming prima donna players.
Ah...your usual ray of sunshine i see!

For this season, Lawrence’s 4.5 sacks are tied for 50th in the NFL but his six tackles for loss lead the Cowboys, as do his 28 quarterback pressures. He is tied for the team lead with three forced fumbles. He has been credited with 44 tackles. He's been with Dallas since 2014.

Why is it an on & switch with him all the time?! No consistency whatsoever!

Time to stop the ignorance of placing this man in the underachiever category. He is not elite, but he is by far the best player on D and arguably a top 3 non-QB player on the team.

Salute, Mr. Lawrence.

Overpaid.

Give him 3-4 Mils/anno and i will start supporting him.

Else cut his cold Boyz arse.

My guess would be his supporting cast. The guy has quite the motor and is actually really good against the run.

So he has issues with finishing his #1 job.....clearly.....5.5.

I mean...if that's how you evaluate the position sure. I think that's an incredibly narrow approach to evaluating the position.

Do you think Haason Reddick is better than Bosa / Mack / Burns / C. Jordan because he has more sacks?

When he plays Gregory > Lawrence. He just doesn’t play a lot.

Ain't nothing narrow about 20 mil. Very good player but not living up to the paycheck

The issue of rating a player based on salary vs "stats"...is a little more complex than some people can comprehend. They want the EASY way...the way they THINK makes them look so expertly-in-the-know.
Add to the don't miss an opportunity to tear down one of your own players...for bonus points in the Kool Kids Klub. OoOH so very adept and obJECTIve.

If we had one consistent player on the other side of Lawrence...and maybe a couple LBer's that would do their job better...he'd have better stats. But that isn't his fault. He's playing good ball and why not recognize that? On a team with little to celebrate.

Great run stopper, mediocre pass rusher....position he plays gets credit for pass rush but not run stopping....hence why it’s very easy to call him overpaid

That’s the nature of the business...all above average players are overpaid in the NFL for the most part. He was one of the top players at the position when he extended...that’s how it works.

Dak’s about to get overpaid too...it’s NFL FA. Doesn’t mean he’s better than everyone he’s making more than he’s one of the top players at his position and the next man up.

If we want to gripe about contracts I’d reshift the focus to guys like Smith and Elliot...who are playing nowhere near what their contracts warrant. DLaw is not a problem.
