Since when did it become acceptable to lose to good teams?

I dont get this thinking at all. Apparently since both of our losses were to undefeated teams, it is a moral victory???

W T F ???????

Has going over a decade without a playoff win lowered expectations among the fan base that we dont expect to beat undefeated teams anymore??? As long as we keep it close and dont embarrass ourselves, it is a moral victory???

Wow, we went from a 5 time SB Champion to a team that is just happy to not get embarrassed by the good teams.

This is sad part...it will take a loss to KC for people to realize that this team is underachieving.

What is just sickening is that we are actually debating the possibility of losing to KC.

Let that sink in for a second. We are actually entertaining the possibility that we could lose to a winless team that has lost 23 of their last 25 games.

WOW:(

Just look at getting better week by week isn't new motto.

We play KC let's beat them and move into the bye week and get some people healthy.

It's a long season guys.

We are in the third year with basically the same players and same coaching staff yet the team still has no identity on offense.

We come out pounding the ball and getting the RBs involved in the passing game and move the ball well in the first half.

Then as soon as the Broncos tie up the game Garrett abandons the RBs and starts having Romo flinging the ball down the field.

Im tired of waiting for this team to suddenly improve, they have had 3 years under Wade Gump and Red to improve and figure things out with no success. Jerry should of fired Wade 2 years ago.

because we are poorly coached. and we are a good team. We did not lose to a better team, today or that Sunday night against the giants.

the game is over, we lost, we are 2-2, 12 games left, we have those games to show how we will finish this season.

It is not as bad as it seems.

I pretty much agree with you, Wayne.

I will say that this loss bothers me a lot more than the Giants one did, simply because I think the Giants are a better team and that one was a last-second, two point game literally decided by a couple of flukey bounces of the ball. This one today I'm afraid could stick with us. There's a big difference between 2-2 and 3-1. If this team loses faith, and/or if the QB loses his confidence, we're screwed.

All that said, of course we should win next week and be 3-2 going into a bye week. I still say that if we can just scrape through to the end and then string a few wins together, we can make as much noise as anyone. But we have to win some of these close games -- we can't keep losing them.

It's Jerry's fault.
It's Wade's fault.
It's Garrett's fault.
It's Romo's fault.

Does anyone ever consider that the #1 defense in the NFL just proved to us that they are legitimately #1?
Does anyone ever consider that we're still a very good team, but like the NYG loss, we lost to a better team? and this one on the road at the end of the game?

Why do so many people think we're the greatest team around, but poorly coached or underachieving?

To me, this was a very hard fought defensive game, and the #1 defense in the NFL did just enough to beat the Dallas Cowboys and hold us off at the 1 yard line with our top receiver out of the game.

We're 2-2, and our two losses were to two undefeated teams, both losses coming at the end of the game.

I'm not happy with losing, and I'm not trying to look on the bright side, but unless you are simply deluded enough to think the Cowboys are the best team in the NFL, but the coach and/or owner-gm are holding them back, then this is just the way it goes some weeks.

Washington has an identical 2-2 record, but every team they've played had 0 wins when they played them. StL and TB are both still winless, while Detroit's only win was against the Skins. The Cowboys have two very tight losses against teams that are both 4-0.

I'm not throwing in the towel yet.

The Denver defense didn't force Romo to overthrow and miss open WRs all night, the Denver defense didn't make us go after Champ with a 4th string WR and the Denver defense didn't makes us call a 2:1 pass run ratio

The problem is that it's the same old stuff. We should have put this game away in the first half, but the same thing that always happens ended up happening - Romo turnover, we let the other team hang around and we lose in horrible fashion at the end.

One main problem is that it suddenly feels like we have another stopgap at QB instead of our future...I don't know about any of you but while not completely happy with Romo as of late and late last year, (and you don't know exactly what his madman method is if he does succeed), I always felt confident with him back there for some reason. After a year and a half of dwindling results, they could probably throw Jon Kitna's half torso out there and i'd feel just as confident. He's burned all his boyish charm and unique playing style to the end. He's gotta win himself all back over to us, and like many of you are saying, how in the hell does this exactly happen?

He needs to be benched. Plain and simple. I'm not saying Kitna is better, but clearly Romo is not right. Bench him until he can exercise whatever demons are ailing him, then he can comeback. But now he is doing more harm than good.

Agree. Jon doesn't have the feet and playmaking ability, but with the way Romo is choosing to play now, he doesn't either. To be fair, a lot of us have barked for the game managing Romo but the problem is the game managing Romo who just played the broncos couldn't seem to complete a pass to save his life.

Check that, I give him the KC game. If he shows the same symptoms I take a hard look at our options during the BYE.

this works for high school kids.. not guys making boat loads of money to get a job done that they spend 365 days a year working to perfect the product they are placing on the field. 2-2 is setting you up for a 8-8 season.

Would 3-1 be setting us up for a 12-4 season then?

It's Captain Overthrows fault.

It's everyones fault.

Does anyone ever consider that we overthrew many catchable balls?
Does anyone ever consider that we're still doing the same stupid **** that we did last year and were more or less promised would be corrected?

Why do so many people think that we're being unrealistic for expecting to have a QB who can hit a receiver in stride. Or a defense that can catch a ball that goes into their hands?

To me, this was another game on a laundry list of past games where we have opportunities to win and just make the same stupid mistakes.

We're 2-2, When you consider that every game we've played, despite our opponents records, we've looked pretty sloppy.

I'm not happy with winning, and I'm not trying to look on the negative side, but we shouldn't be deluded enough to think the Cowboys can put together a complete game, despite the weather, the altitude, the coaches, the players, the birds, the bees, the flowers and the trees.

Washington has an identical 2-2 record and we're not them.

I'm throwing in the towel.

Better post, spot on. I've never seen a Cowboy offense so confused at the LOS. Also any DC that would let Ellis go for nothting while keeping Barbie on the roster and assuming that Spencer alone is the answer is an idiot.

Good points. I have to admit I also did want to see what the game manager Romo could do and now I don't wanna see it no more. His technique looks sloppy, he's just a mess right now. Kitna is done though, lol. I know it's almost kinda like a joke, but if Romo went down tomorrow, things would get REALLY ugly. You have to really wonder though if the passing game can't get going against KC. Luckily, I think we could possibly win that thing without an offensive TD. That offensive is godawful.

But you best bet that they'll be looking to pull the upset and be really fired up to do it. They're in a no lose situation really. Their season isn't done, but 0-4? They'll be pulling the fake FG,s the fake punts and the onside kicks left and right.

They'll be aiming to catch us off guard. Probably do to us what Miami did to the Patriots with the Wildcat.
