Assuming you are correct, then Sanchez should have a good game. McFaddon can provide a good running attack and the short passing game with Beazley and Witten should still be there.

Its going to be a dink and dunk contest between Sanchez and Wentz on Sunday. Sproles may very well be the difference.

Sanchez hasn't played that much either in awhile and when he does get on the field they'll be no Zeke, Tyron and possibly none of our starting OL so I'm not expecting a lot. Philly is going to play all out and it took OT to beat them when we were at our best earlier in the season. We're may get beat pretty good if we decide to lay down on Sunday.

If we are ready for them to play "a lot" why not just play the whole dang time? Whats the point

playing injury prone Romo without Tyron Smith is a smart move

He's not likely to have a Tyron with the next team he plays for. If he can't move around very well anymore or Houdini spin his way out of trouble it might be best he retire before he ends having to use a walker by the time he's 45.

Now you know why the big line move in Vegas. Cowboys went from -3.5 to +4. Whole bunch of early money with Egirls getting points.

Sanchez has had a lot more playoff success than Romo. I hope he's our back-up in January as well

its total BS from the FO on how they dont think of Romos trading value with this decision of not playing him.

Romo has to be rusty **. you play him in case he has to come in come playoffs.

but anyways. lets see how sanchez runs this offense. im sure he'll wana beat his old team.
Do you really want to see how Romo's back will handle the hits coming from his blindside? It's probably better for his trade value to leave it up to the imagination

Playing Sanchez over Romo makes no sense to me.

There's the "knock the rust" off Romo argument, of course. However, there's also the "keep Romo from getting injured for trade value" argument, along with the "keep Romo from getting injured before the playoffs". Since a rusty Romo is better than Sanchez in his prime, they must think they're maximizing their talent by playing Sanchez.

This could be a decision that they regret...

Mixed feelings about Romo not getting any snaps. The last image I'll have of him as a Cowboy will be the Seattle injury snap.

At the same time, Philly would murder him with the injuries we have.

How ironic. Romo's legacy as a Cowboy will be bracketed by two games against Seattle.
