Lol, so now Rooney is in on this? These conspiracy theories used to be annoying because 1) they're nothing but excuses and 2) there's no proof of anything and 3) they make us, as Cowboy fans look ridiculous but now I'm actually starting to enjoy reading them. They just keep getting better and better. Only another year or so and Elvis and the Russians will be against the Cowboys.

We could also devote another thread to the people that think there couldn't possibly be "old money" owners with backroom influence with the league. Mara's vested interest in the "Salary Cap Gate" was almost palpable.

Since, Zeke wasn't charged with a criminal offense with his ex girlfriend, then doesn't that open Pandora box so to speak, to where NFL will have to suspend other players that like the Giants wr that goes to parties, supposedly does drugs, etc, but just rumor but no hard evidence, or any other NFL player that comes under certain suspect issues?

Another example, Eli Manning supposedly issue with email, and other info to where Eli has told the Giants equipment manager to doctor up jersey, so could make money off the jersey that Eli didnt wear, etc.? Doesnt that open pandora box to where NFL has to suspend other nfl players without criminal offense but just rumors etc?

The trouble I see with this is the huge target the league will put on the back of every player. The message will be loud and clear. Any woman can now accuse any player of any crime and the player will pay a serious price to his reputation, career, salary, and marketability. Players already have to watch out for opportunistic gold diggers, now this will make it much worse. The next lady can say "hey Zeke, impregnate me or I'll tell everyone you beat and raped me." It doesn't matter if it's true. The effect will be the same.

Do it. I've already addressed this in another thread but by no means am I an expert. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Don't forget to include "new money" owners like Jerry who some people also think can't have bus/backroom influence in the league.

I think what a lot of you are missing is that myself, and a few others, are saying IF Zeke is suspended there will be more to it that we're not aware of yet OR the pulling down the top thing may still be in play.

I really don't think they'll come out and say he's suspended because a girl that has already been caught asking her friend to lie for her accused him of something he didn't do.

Who knows, maybe he gives his response and everything is dropped, that could still happen as well.
