Both were extremely disappointing as rookies. Even the Joneses said they both have to play better. Going into their second year Mazi is rehabbing from surgery and Schoonmaker has yet another nagging injury and we’re only in May. He can’t afford to miss any work. The injuries are setting him back.

You aren't happy with our tight ends? They look pretty strong as a group.
I like Jake...but if you think we haven;t wasted a lot of 2nd round picks on TE...yer nuts.

I'm searching to see if you think round 4 Trey Lance pick was a waste.

I think that getting Lance was a good move. They have been developing him and now can sign him if they think he is worth it.

There are those that Destiny smiles upon.

......And then there are the Schoonmakers of the world.

Sometimes it almost seems as though luck can be a measurable trait.

"He's fast, strong.....and lucky."

exactly. Come camp, he should be past the hammy issue and be ready to roll. Now if he tweaks it in a camp drill, then I am worried.
Schoon has biceps bigger than the average persons thighs.
This guy will become the best blocking TE this league has seen for quite some time,,,

Let's just hope Schoon's health is one of the things he's "lucky" about. Being available when duty calls would likely serve him well.
