He’s had some asinine decisions of late like not kicking the field goal a few weeks back.

But tonight he was forcing the run over and over - when he had the hottest hand coming in- Pickens.

Marty ball ? More like Stupidity

Throw the ball deep early and often!!!

What’s the matter with you !!! Dive left - dump off in the flats - dive right WT_!!!!

Pathetic

And that trickled down - we looked scared.

Detroit was ready to choke it away / that Crowd was restless an unsure.

Instead of being aggressive - with a potential playoff spot RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.

We played not to lose

And we got slapped around.

Dude Pickens was lolygaging tonight….he didn’t fight for the ball on a couple passes, one being a pick. Jogging on one of those routes. Mentally was childish today.
 
He botched their last drive. Time management and the decision to kick the FG while leaving them too much time. It was a FG wash in the end. I would have gone on 4th to try and get that TD. Even if it failed, time burns off and no one scores….another wash. That was playing not to lose.

I imagine that in other weeks, you, or others like you, complained that we didn’t run enough.

That’s play calling balance. The pass rush was overwhelming from the start and our offensive line was awful.

What do you think it would have looked like if we didn’t try to run?

They were outcoached on both sides of the ball. The talk from Schotty about being too passive against Denver and saying they won't be doing that again and he comes out and does the same thing to start this game vs a secondary that was injured and got abused last week. He came out trying to run rollouts, screens and little dump offs.


Eberflus blitzed on 4 of the Lions vs 6 drop backs and got pressure on all of them, then blitzed a total of 4 more times the next 26 drop backs lol 10 yard cushions when the game is on the line and you have to stop them is unforgiveable as well. He is a chicken little letting teams walk right down the field. Even after Dallas gets teams in 1st and 20 he goes limp and gives up easy underneath stuff to let offenses get right back on schedule. 80% zone coverage against tonight
 
This game was lost because of the defensive coordinator’s decision to rush four guys all night. We came out the fist drive with 5, and a couple blitz packages, then it went bye bye. So did the game. Eberflus pig headed decision to stick with his scheme completely handed the game to Detroit

Agree100%. Our coaches got out coached on both sides of the ball!!!!!!!

I thought Shotty would have them better prepared. I was wrong.

i think the first two series lamb wasn’t even involved. he had 121 at the half. we def never exploit other teams weaknesses.
