I laugh about most of the cowboys fans here on this forum.
They seem to be one of the most bi polar fan base around, with extreme highs and extreme lows.
Dak is playing lights out, and this fan base is thinking the playoffs are possible.
Dak is not going to be 100% lights out every game, and it's bound that he's going to have a bad game every once in a while, added you can't blame him 100% on all the turnovers.
Ironic thing is I'm not even a Dak fan.
Every team can have a streak per it in a couple of games or even a season.
If any fan here realistically thought that the cowboys would be WAY above .500 this year, I would say you're expectations were way to high given the new coaching staff along with the players that we had at the beginning of the season, added to everyones surprise, we traded away our best defensive player on the team right before the season started.
Even the announcers in last nights game said commented that now the cowboys are on a winning streak, everyone is talking about playoffs and Jerry is in kind of a no win situation. That said I disagree with their comment on Jerry.
The cowboys play "Jerry ball" IMO every year. "Jerry ball" is not building a great dominant team who can make a run to the super bowl, "Jerry ball" is keeping the team relevant enough during the season that his team are talked about, because Jerry just loves soap operas.
Jerry found some good players during the season surprisingly enough, but I don't think it's enough to make this a good / great team to make a run into the playoffs this year.
Any fan who has any common sense should have come to the realization of "Jerry ball" after the 2023 playoff loss AT HOME to the packers and what he did not do the following year.
