Schultz = Witten 2.0?

......nor be a half yard short of the yard marker.
Of course not. We have an OL now, so Dak won't be forced to constantly dump off passes to his 3rd/4th option in Witten due to not having enough time for the WR's to run their routes. You did notice that, right? I mean, it was blatantly obvious.

Typical fan overreaction

- i don't see anything that resembles Witten besides having the knack to sit or operate in soft spots and zone coverages , He feasts off Dak's terrific ball handling play action and roll outs and the enormous attention the WRs continue to draw.

- We don't see Schultz shucking and shimmering the patented shoulders hip fakes and jukes away from tight coverage LBs and safeties the way Witten did ... the GOAT in his prime of course.

- So long as he can find soft openings and zone play, Schultz can take advantage of that.

- He's an average blocker .. Jarwin is a below average blocker

He's perfect...for what we like to do with his skill set,
But if we somehow discover a hidden gem like a Darren Waller or a George Kittle in late rounds,.. man i'd take that all day ! .

I agree. We need a Te that can produce and score when it matters. Not in some meaningless blowout game against a scrub Lb like #49 Alex Singleton. Who was reported needing to be benched this week. He missed the coverage twice and left Schultz free to score those 2 tds. Btw. Any hs te could have executed on those 2 Td catches. He was left wide open. The contested catch got jarred loose because Schultz didn't come back for the ball. You don't wait on balls to get there in the NFL. You gotta attack the ball

I kinda feel bad for that, Jarwin is a good guy. Just had bad luck.
...well yes, but at the same time Shultz is showing up on his opportunities. Haven't seen Jaws in while, nonetheless his chances will be there. Maybe tomorrow.

How are y'all liking schultz today? A miscalled fumble and a botched 2 pt conversion . Lmao.

Jarwin did make a score when the defender slipped on a banana peel.

They'll jack squat this game off before it's all said and done.

These tes will run out of gas and playmaking abilities in the 4th quarter when it matters just like they always do.

They are mediocre tes who live off what the defense gives them. But they just arent good enough to win games which always equates to LOSING. Js

170 yards and 4 TDs from our TE’s over the last 2 weeks. It’s time you gave it a rest.

By the way, claiming Schultz should have come back for that pass last week is perhaps the most ridiculous comment you’ve made. He was streaking full speed downfield, the pass was thrown exactly to the pattern he ran, not for a comeback opportunity, and it hit Schultz perfectly in stride exactly as the play was designed. Sometimes defenses just make a good play.

Schultz is clearly a better te than Jarwin. He's

What you're seeing is 2 tes running free drawing no coverage.

Not one of those 4 tds by our tes had a defender covering them.

They were all blown coverages.

Any college te in the NCAA could have made those plays. So don't get too confident.

They took what the defense gave them but they are both still NOT VERY GOOD.

If Carolina had McCaffrey we prolly walk away with a loss.

I'm glad we won but we're still a more potent offense with no tes on the field

I’m sure all the TEs out there that average 20-30 yards with no TDs are drawing the opponents best cover guys, right? Probably double coverage. Lol.

Production speaks volumes. Your posts speak to a closed mind blindly devoted to a narrative.

Let's put it this way. He has been allowed the privilege of being on my fantasy team. Next week he may even get a start.
