This was just a freak accident to an injury prone player. Neither did anything wrong there, Martin did not bulldoze him, he was just finishing a block while Lee was in an awkward position.

This is football, injuries will happen in walkthrough's, practice and in games.

Zack Martin should not catch any blame for this but we all know some will crucify him.

Are you joking? Cursed? His body can't handle the rigors of the NFL and you're blaming it on bad luck? He's been perpetually injured since his rookie season, which is why teams avoided such an obviously talented player in the draft. Even when he's played he's been hampered, like when he played all those games with a cast.

Cowboy fans are looking down the barrel of a 4-12 season, or thereabouts.

If 4-12 comes to pass, then we'll have a shot a pretty good QB come next draft.

it sure seems like this team has the most injuries to me every year on defense.

A few teams might have lost more total man games, but nobody came close to losing as many players to the front seven as the Cowboys.

What do people expect? He was injury prone in college and has been injury prone in the pros. When you take guys to get " a deal" there is a reason behind that deal and the Boys like taking chances with injured players. Roll the dice and you lose sometimes.

I think Lee is gone for the yr. Big disappointment. Bu atleast it happened now. Dallas can figure it out now. IMO i'd love to see Carter play the Mike. Guy was a monster playing ILB in the 3-4. Carter calls plays and adjustments when Lee is out anyways. Let Hitchens compete with Durant for the Will.

Gotta move on and play with what you got. No excuses.

I think you start to think about moving on from Lee as well. Luke Keuchley will be a free agent in a couple of years and is only 23 years old.
