Sean Lee Helped Off Field ***Left knee injury per JG***

Last year he hurt his left hamstring up around the hip and his neck.

They just got done with the offseason S&C program and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

The way he was helped off it looks like a knee or ankle. Could be hamstring again coming off S&C and going a little too hard in practice.

Either way we'll know something soon enough.

Obviously. I guess Martin, Frederick and Bryant will never get hurt because they are real men. Silly.

Because when people think of iconic tough manly football players in the history of the NFL, they think of the guy who played 3 games in his career.

I don't see your point? I'm not trying out for the Dallas Cowboys. I want my players to play. I want my doctors to be educated. I want my barbers to have hands.

But if they don't do all those things, are they less than men? That's what people are attacking. To question his manhood because his body doesn't hold up to injuries? That's a bit overboard, don't you agree?

I think people have a different definition of a "man" when it comes to football players. A real man in the real world is a guy who pays his bills, takes care of his family, doesn't beat women, etc. But a real "man" in the NFL is a tough, scrappy player who will play with a broken rib and drive his team down field, etc. When we think manliest performances in NFL history, we think some late game Romo drives, some days where Emmitt is rushing for 200 yards in the playoffs with broken bones. That's the stuff that comes to mind. Sean Lee getting hurt by a rookie blocker in practice will not go down in the top 10 manliest moments in NFL history.

This is what happens when you go after risky players, you roll the dice when drafting them even if the red flag is on the card. Not shocked this guy is hurt again. Now the LB core might be the worst in the NFL minus Lee.

Garrett: He will see the Dr's later today and we will find out what it is. Dont want to speculate

No, people here make an instant judgement that sticks with a player forever. They invest so much energy into that they would rather be proved right than see a player actually succeed.

Instant judgements? He's 28 years old and hasn't played a full season since Pop Warner. I think he's earned his label.

They did that last yr with BW, Heath and Wilcox and now everybody thinks theyre busts

The majority of the time, that's what you find out in the NFL. But still, you have to let them play to find out.

Those are all grossly watered down criteria based upon your original post. Let's not do the Deion Dance.

Not only that but we actually invest more in the guy after seeing he can not stay healthy at all.Should have cut our losses and moved on and let another team deal with this year after year.
