Man..what is wrong with some people sheesh!

He was under contract. Sure, his leverage was holding out but nevertheless he made that decision. When they did that contract zeke was a 2-time rushing champ and would have been three in a row if not for Jerry's feud with Goodell.
Not sure you just throw that away as a JAG. But don;t blame zeke for it. Jerry should have sat him out then.
Then we ruined him.
He always worked hard and did everything this team asked him to do. See his last play as a Cowboy. Would we have asked Emmitt to do that? Of course not...STUPID!I don’t think it has anything to do with his work ethic
Agreed Zeke is done and he was way overpaid. Rico runs with more burst.I loved it.
Weak links need to go.
Well if ya say so.He was under contract. Sure, his leverage was holding out but nevertheless he made that decision.
We didn't ruin him. He simply played a position where the fall off is greater than most other positions and got cut because it made no sense taking on the cap hits for him at what is largely a fungible position in the NFL.
Offensive line makes a running back, not the other way round.....And you couldn't see he was starting to decline Sleesh!!!He was NFL rushing champion his 3rd year.

Doesn't mean we can;t have some civility and appreciation for his Cowboys career.Agreed Zeke is done and he was way overpaid. Rico runs with more burst.
And I am sure THEY won;t do to him what WE did to him.I love seeing him on another team. He can do to them what he did to us.
No...I did not see his third year "starting to decline". You don't do that "in decline"...unless you WANT to see it.Offensive line makes a running back, not the other way round.....And you couldn't see he was starting to decline Sleesh!!!
If I recall, we lost our starting center, are starting tight end, and I starting wide receiver. The whole team declined. It wasn’t because of anything he individually did. These people are ridiculous.No...I did not see his third year "starting to decline". You don't do that "in decline"...unless you WANT to see it.
ANd yes...any RB needs a good o-line. You couldn't see we leaned on him hard with it? SHEESH!
He made it very easy on Dak....you know it.
3rd best RB in Cowboys history. One and half season of elite play at his position while the rest of his career was overrated on this board. Not even a Cowboys great though many here will try to revise it and pretend he was.
2016 wasn't special since two years earlier a back had a similar season and Darren freakin' McFadden had a 1,000 yard season behind that O-Line.I mean you had an issue with him before even drafting him so you wouldn't care when he finally left. There's a part of this fanbase that felt this way. I never cared where he was drafted. Or that we gave him a second contract. The fact is, 2016 was special. And the run was special. I remember when RGIII and Alfred Morris did it as well. It's just a special moments and some of you guys have been fans for far longer than me so this type of moment may have meant nothing. But watching Dak and Zeke grow together it was special and it hasn't resulted in a ring but this team has been rather good since drafting Zeke. It's the end of the era. Or was the end of an era. Sad that more didn't come from it.
Yeah...I'm prolly done here.If I recall, we lost our starting center, are starting tight end, and I starting wide receiver. The whole team declined. It wasn’t because of anything he individually did. These people are ridiculous.
Was Mac a rookie? With a rookie QB?2016 wasn't special since two years earlier a back had a similar season and Darren freakin' McFadden had a 1,000 yard season behind that O-Line.
