It does. I didn't think it would. I think it's kind of messed up to claim Zeke's career was cut short because of his "work ethic". Is that what happened to Todd Gurley? Is that what's happening with Kamara and Henry? C cowboys ran him into the ground. It happens.

Why is it that in the 70s and 80s a single back could last 10 years being the only back. At a time when the league was more run heavy? If not work ethic.

Media was alerted he was signed on the 16th. His agent was most likely already working on the signing on the 14th, this is also after Zeke spent a lot of time with Bill and Mac Jones a couple weeks earlier.

It still doesn't prove Bill told him to get a haircut lol. I remember when eh got this haircut and he signed a few days later lol.

The world has changed a lot since the 70's lol. Guys are 300 pounds now and can run a 4.5 and have a 40 inch vertical. Processed food, guys bigger and faster...

Because in today's league the value of the RB has been devalued. It's not just about if an RB can play, it's that they won't be kept around unless they fit the scheme or they are playing at a very high level. Once they drop off or the scheme is changed, they get tossed to the streets.

In the 70s, 80s, and even 90s - for many teams, the RB WAS the scheme and someone you planned games around. But even then, RBs tended to fit into a pattern as well. The legendary players were exceptions to this.

Matt Ryan won MVP in 2016 - was he a special QB? Just going by your own list, Alfred Morris was elite in 2012....was he a special RB?

I like Zelda and all by I’m ok with it. He’s sort of a clown and he’s done as a starting RB. Now Emmitt was a different story. They don’t make many like him and Irvin that have such a desire and passion to win at all costs. True leaders.

Dak had one of his best seasons his rookie year. The idea that defenses weren't accounting for his play, which was efficient, is absolutely absurd. This is a passing league first and foremost, they were absolutely factoring in Prescott's play.

And how exactly did McFadden average 4.6 YPC the season before? Can you even remember who our QBs were in 2015? We had more than one for a reason....

....a few other RBs already did what he did and then someone else did it just 4 years later. So obviously it was not "special". He had an elite 2012 season, it was not special.
