Senior Bowl Game Thread

He certainly has. For a small guy he has been very physical, and I really like his change of direction ability.
He's 6'1-3/8". That's what worried about his COD ability. But he's had a very good week.

Nice push by Red Bryant on that 3rd down. I wouldn't mind having him on the nose next year.

He's tall, but he's very thin too. That was something about him that worried me.

Wow. Let's make sure not to draft anyone on the South O-line.

The north is getting some serious pressure so far. Laws have been impressive this week as well.

The South QBs suck..........couldnt they find one senior QB worth a hill of beans? so much for the WRs and TEs getting a chance to show their worth

Hey, take it easy guys. It has been documented all week that the North would dominate on the offensive and defensive lines. Not to mention the fact that Martz has all 3 QB's trying to learn HIS system which is also documented to be very difficult to just pick up. I wouldn't take Brennan in the first 2 rounds, but 3rd and up wouldn't surprise me, 4th to be more comfortable. He definately has upside, regardless of how he performs today. I've seen him make too many ad lib plays and plays on the run for me to think he sucks. He also plays with heart, which is why players like him.

It's also been documented all week that Brennan is horribly inaccurate, not just today, but in practice all week. He's been free falling ever since he actually had to face a real contender in Georgia. It's easy to play with heart when you go undefeated beating on a bunch of chumps. I'm sure he'll get drafted, maybe in the same spot Troy Smith got drafted last year (was it the sixth?) and sit on the bench somewhere, he'll probably get a shot at some point, like Troy, we'll see what happens.

Lawrence Jackson just got a free run at Brennan...maybe the team doesn't really like him either.

Things have really gone south (pun intended) for this kid ever since the arse-whuppin' his team received from Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Bad read by Booty and a nice play by Demps. The South needs to take advantage of this swing in momentum right now.

I bet he doesn't make it that far. Maybe not even to 22. :(

Everyone thought the same about Ricardo Colclough, and he fell a good ways if I remember correctly.

There's no way. Mckelvin, Jenkins, Cason, Talib, etc. He'll be an early to mid 2nd pick. Not saying he isn't a 1st round talent, but that position is stacked with 1st round talent. Just like RB. There could be 3rd round RBs with 1st round talent this year.

Well good, because I'd take him for sure. But a lot of these bigger name corners who don't run fast will fall like a rock.

BTW, did I mention how much I like Hillis? Awesome hands, but he looks quicker than I thought he'd be.

If you have read all of the reports, all of the south QBs struggled. Timing is one thing, system is another, blocking is a third. By Wednesdays practice, indications were that Brennan's accuracy has steadilly been improving, while Woodson has totally plummeted. I don't have to watch to know that if the line isn't blocking, no one will look good. (see 4th quarter, Giants Vs. Cowboys)

The blocking has improved throughout the game, and Woodson just put together a nice drive to tie the game.
