RB Chase Brown weighing in at 215 lbs is surprising in a pleasant way.

TE Josh Whyle coming in at 6'6 260 is surprising as well, but his arm length for that size (31) is confusing.
Wow, those are disproportionately short arms.

Same thing for Nashon Wright.

Not crazy about this WR class in general. Also think it’s a bit soon to just give up on Tolbert. Gallup never quite looked right to me even when he came back. I think it’s likely he looks a lot like his normal self next year. IMO OBJ is the most likely guy to come in and have an impact if healthy.

I think they need to add a vet and then if they could come back and nab someone like Hyatt in the 2nd, you have enough to work with in that WR grouping. Between Lamb, Gallup, OBJ, Tolbert, Hyatt, etc there is more than enough to put together a good WR room. Although I'll have to defer to the Daksters to let us know if the WR group would meet their approval.

The game starts soon, 2:30ET…hopefully we get to talk about that instead of this weird bickering
Just wanted to say that I appreciate what you add around here annually on the draft stuff.

Thank you and I hope you continue.

Tyjae Spears RB from Tulane is turning a lot of heads at the practices as well. 5’9 204 RB with what looks to be elite burst and short area quickness. Dominated at Tulane last year with 1,581 yards rushing (6.9 YPC) and 19 TD’s while also adding 256 yards receiving with 2 TD’s. Had 205 yards and 4 TD’s Vs USC in the bowl game as well.

He looks like Tony Pollard.

Nathaniel “Tank” Dell WR from Houston has been looking very good in practice. Small WR at 5’8 163, but he’s extremely shifty both in route running and with the ball in his hands. Led the nation with 1,398 and with 17 TD’s, and 2nd by 1 catch with 109 (albeit in Houston’s spread air raid). Also graded 94% percentile in terms of creating separation.

Tank Dell can stop on a dime.

IMO they should double down on a WR via trade / FA AND the draft.

I’d be calling about Hops / Cooks / Juedy as my top choices. I’d need to be 100% sure OBJ is healthy before pulling the trigger on him and lastly I like Hardman as last option in FA.

Then I’d still draft someone like Dell in the 2nd if he was available and you’d have him battling it out with Tolbert as young blood for the future.

WR1: Lamb
WR2: Cooks
WR 3: Dell
WR: Gallup / Tolbert

I can actually get excited about that.
as long as we address the running back situation and oline, this can work nicely.

He does. It looks to me that you could draft 2 backs that would be as good as Pollard and Murray coming out of college. They need to take advantage of this. It doesn't make sense to have a veteran when you look at this draft and the number of free agents on the market.
