So you're saying Hamlin doesn't have as many interceptions and forced fumbles because he takes bad angles???? Care to explain that?

And lol at putting OJ Atogwe on a list with three perennial All-pros.
1st off their's no point in explaining this since your mind is up Theogts ***.

2nd Atogwe has forced turnovers with the best of them since 2006.

have a good night.

That's only because people aren't afraid to throw at Atogwe like they are Hamlin. Hamlin evokes fear in the hearts of quarterbacks everywhere.

Antoine Cason is no slouch.

In fact, his career numbers are better than those of Tracy Porter.

Fail?

Tracy Porter was a top 10 corner in '09.

And would you take Cason over Mike Jenkins? Theo was prepared to do that if he had his way.

Then it is obvious that you have not a very good grasp on either what a free safety is supposed to do or how difficult it is to get interceptions playing football.

I know what a FS is supposed to do, which is exactly why it's stupid to try to pump up Ken Hamlin using coverage metrics when he barely has any coverage responsibilities other than patrolling the deep zone.

I guess I'm just jaded because Hamlin has way better seats than me to watch what's going on on the field.

I understand, but I don't "love" the guy. It's not like I'm saying he's the best safety in the league, or even a top 5 for that matter.

All I'm saying is that we likely can't get a better safety any time soon. He's above average and it's hard to replace that.

Simply refuting people that say he "sucks" or "should be cut" doesn't mean I love the guy.

If we were to get Earl Thomas do you think that would be an upgrade? Or would you take a wait and see approach? I suppose the wait and see approach would be the most sensible. Sorry. I tend to ramble at times.

Same guys that put pictures of whatever free agent is on the market in their sig/avatar and scream for a signing, yet bash teams like the Commanders for doing exactly what they wish for.

Do you think its not a smart move to dump his contract this year though?

Does he play up to that contract?

I say dump it and look elsewhere.

I don't know enough about Earl Thomas to make a judgment.

No, I think it'd be incredibly stupid. He has another two years on his contract before it'd be smart to dump it. And that would be only if we could find a better replacement, which we likely can't.

With your track record of judging draft prospects, I wouldn't start now.
Will you still be waiting tables in your 30s?
