No doubt. I wonder how much ball has been played by the likes of Bob Costas, Jim Rome, and Colin Cowherd. If you apply that logic to everything Garrett should not be the head coach.

1) It's pre-season. I'm not sweating it.
2) It's good to see the Tony Romo Defense Team is already in mid-season form.
Williams needed to keep up his speed. He did not and we will never know if Romo was accurate or not there
Everyone's always trying to make an excuse for Romo, amazing.

lol... Exactly. I watched the game with 2 other friends, one of which is a massive Romo fan... even blind at times. All 3 of us said it was clear as day Romo overthrew him. It is comical to me that Romo fans try to come up with an excuse to absolve Romo on that play.
Sure it is just preseason and nobody is perfect but you have got to make that throw when your WR is wide open. Romo is too good to miss that throw.
Overthrow still, but it happens to the best of them.
Yes, Romo missed him, no big deal. Its preseason, its a practice game and that's what its all about, PRACTICE. Geez!! Romo made a lot of nice throws but he missed one, so what. Smh!!! The entire offense was rolling, Romo had plenty of time. We just need to hold onto the rock. Romo missing a rookie on a overthrow in a presesaon game is no big issue.
don't waste your time with him. Ufcrules is proud that he is the #1 Romo hater on this board. Romo could win SB MVP three times and ufcrules would still say he was a bumYou do realize that just because the ball is overthrown that doesn't mean it has to be on the QB right? I'm not saying it wasn't in that case, but it was pretty evident that Williams stopped running once he beat his defender and went into what looked like a jog.
So are we to conclude Brad Sham is just making stuff up here? I have not known him to do so in the past.
I only saw the play once so I have no opinion one way or the other. But Sham has inside access to the team. If he heard this it is probably from a team source and 100% more reliable then the guy on ufcrules couch.
Tom Brady and Peyton manning miss throws like that now and then. BUT ROMO is not allowed to miss any according to you.Agreed, but why is that every poor throw Romo makes has to come with an excuse attached to it?
