If this happens I am officially done. I won’t waste my time. My buddy switched to the Bills a couple years ago. I thought he was full of it. Guy is loving it. He was at the game this week. I am the sap. Life is too short.

I had this convo with my pops earlier and he still believes. He’s a sucker.

On X Cowboys' Schottenheimer Interview Sparks Fan Outrage

The Dallas Cowboys have officially interviewed Brian Schottenheimer with 2nd interview planned for their head coaching vacancy, a move that has not been well-received by the fanbase. According to NFL com and SI, this interview has led to widespread frustration and debate. Critics, as reported by BVM Sports and Pro Football Network, argue that this choice reflects a lack of ambition or direction from the Cowboys' management, with some fans expressing their disillusionment to the extent of contemplating withdrawing their support. The backlash underscores a broader sentiment that the team might not be serious about pursuing championship success, as echoed by fan reactions across various platforms.

Here is this short enough for you next time you say that Jerry S trying to pay the cheapest salary in the NFL for head coaches you'd see he's at 15 in 2024 Jerry Jones paid Mike McCarthy the 15th overall salary which would make him in the middle right so there are 16 other teams I believe or is it 17 a lot of these are ties so give or take that are paying less but I find that ironic that the two head coaches in the NFC East Washington and Philly both pay about the same amount of money that Mike McCarthy got and yet Jerry's being called out for being cheap and yet here are facts that says he may not be paying top money and by the way again look at some of those salaries at the top and are those guys doing any more than Mike McCarthy did for his salary even though they make a lot more it doesn't make em better it just makes them more highly paid..:oldcouple:.FACTS

Look at one through six. If you want the best you apparently have to be willing to pay significantly more than Jerry Jones has been paying head coaches. No one cares what other teams pay their head coach. How about can Jerry just find a head coach that’s worth more than he’s being paid? The Dallas Cowboys are one of the NFL teams that need a new head coach. Their owner has been the least aggressive searching for one.

That’s a concern and many fans are disappointed.

Heard on the news tonight Schottenheimer is set for a second interview, but they didn't know if it was for HC or OC.

Why should Jerry pay for a high priced HC when all he needs is a puppet? Jerry is the real HC and nobody can do a better job than Jerry, Jerry said so.

Win or lose, Jerry enjoys being an NFL General Manager. He has a perception of himself that’s very different from fans’ perception. I don’t thinks he cares as much about the results of his decisions as he does about just being able to make the decisions. He’s living his best life.

Schotty will abide and hire Witten. But I don't think he's the only prospect willing to do that. What makes Schotty "unique" is he also offers offensive consistency for remedial Dak.
Lets see, Dallas was dead last in the NFL in redzone offense.............last in redzone scoring percentage, last in redzone turnover differential, and last in redzone TDs scored.

Yeah, I can totally see the need to keep "offensive consistency" from last year, like what we were doing was so great, why would anybody want to change anything:thumbup:

I am telling you my buddy, Cowboys fan for over 35 years, all in Bills guy now. It’s been amazing to see. He actually enjoys Sundays.
I cant switch to another team, I just dont really care about anybody else whether they win or lose.

No, for Beast, it will be spending more time on Sundays with my twin girls. They are both still little, so they dont mind hanging out with their old man. Now once they become teenagers, I imagine that will be a totally different story, LOL!!!

At this point, we are competing with franchises like the Jaguars for "how not to run a NFL franchise"

Sad times.

Hah. That sounds like a win. As a father of teenage girls my advice is to embrace the drama and learn to love Sephora and Ulta.
