Shocking stat on Cooper

He was wide open tonight and Dak over threw him....

This is why you don’t waste resources on a QB who is statistically one of the worst passers in the league.

So if Dak had made a perfect pass and hit it, would you be on the Dak/Amari train or would you have made some other lame arsed acuse why Dez isn't on the team at the end of the day? Admit, you are a PLAYER Homer. You love Dez so much it blinds you to all good about the other players. Don't be that guy...

Cooper is what allowed us to pass on 1st down tonight.

Here's our first three 1st-down plays:
1st possession
Prescott sacked, 3-and-out.

2nd possession
Elliott right tackle for 2 yards. (2nd down pass to Cooper for 13 yards, first down)
Elliott right end for 1 yard. (3rd down pass to Cooper for 10 yards, first down)

Then we passed on 14 of our next 15 first down plays. The only exception was Dak's TD on a sneak at the 1-yd line.

That's 15 consecutive 1st-down plays without a Zeke run. Of course, the next time Zeke runs on 1st down, he gets 15 yards.

What allowed it was Linehan pulling his head out after being heavily criticized for constantly running on first down all week.

Find me hating on Cooper anywhere.

I hate the trade for this team. It’s not a good deal if you don’t have a guy that can throw the football.

I don’t mind Amari Cooper. He’s a good player.

He’s suddenly made Hurns a viable receiver. I don’t know if it’s because lesser CBs are on him or now he feels pressure but he’s had his 2 best plays in back to back weeks.

As a depth guy you just want Hurns to make 1 or 2 big plays per game that he’s a threat but you’re not reliant on him
I was just gonn type this. Hurns suddenly doesn’t look as bad as he has the rest of the season. And still runs a great route.

You just hated on him and not-hated on him in the same post...good job Bumpkin....

Seems like they’ve finally given up on the “Rico Experiment” phase.
I believe so....let’s just stop trying to be cute and get the offense some real help at tight end. I’m good with Swaim because he’s functional in both the passing and run game, but I’d love to get someone more dynamic.

But we can’t have ALL the toys

In 2007 we had the passing offense but the running game was shaky. Just gotta get a good TE and improve OL and QB play and this offense could start going places.

I can’t wait for Schultz to bulk up a bit in the offseason. He didn’t look bad at all tonight and I noticed he’s got a little fight in him.

He's definitely worth the trade. People complaining about not having a pick to get a QB is not looking at the big picture. Even if you get a QB, he's not going to develop properly without good receivers.

Look around the league. All the good young QBs have good to great receiving corp. One of the first thing McVay did when he became the HC was to upgrade the WRs by getting Woods and Watkins. And he did it again this year by trading for Cooks.

Eagles already had Ertz and they went out and got Jeffreys, Torrey Smith and Mike Wallace. There are only few QBs that can make an average WR look good. When it comes to young QBs, it's usually the receivers making the QB look good.

You don’t need to commit big resources to the WR position to get production.

It’s all about QB and coaching.

How many rookie QBs have you seen that can make an average WR look good?

It has everything to do with it.....you are just too dim to realize it. LOL

Says the guy who doesn’t understand what not liking a trade means.

It’s impossible to think the player is good and still hate giving up a first round pick for him.
