No. It's not a possibility, IMO.

I don't need to see him play in Dallas to have an opinion on the player. I don't play this game of well let's wait and see, what do we know, trust the team defense mechanism fans use to defend horrible draft picks.

Anthony Hitchens will go down as yet another horrific draft day decision by the worst run team in the league over the last 20 years.

The "game" of having sufficient data to make a decision? Yes, we know, you don't play that. Mel Kiper didn't have him rated high? Or say somebody else did publicly? I think we're done here, then. There's no hope.

This ready-fire-aim is why your evaluations are typically off. If you weren't targeting only the lowest probability targets, you'd be right even less.

Yes, we all agree that the fourth rounder has the cards stacked against him. Because they all do. I didn't like the pick, either, but at least I know there's nothing for it but to see how he plays. I don't play the game of Grandstanding.

I actually thought Hitchens played really well being in his first action. Hopefully he keeps developing by see no reason why he can't contribute some this season. Again we shall see if he develops over the course of the season, just keep improving is all I ask.

I don't know but I'll be right in the end. Like I usually am. Like I am far more than you'll ever be.

Right. Like Mack can't play? Costa doesn't belong in the league? Hatcher is JAG? CBs aren't valuable? Spencer wasn't a very good player? Spend $60M on an OG? Draft one at #1 overall? When being right looks like that, why bother ever being wrong?

Please. I've never been distracted with you playing the overwhelming odds on middle-round picks, Risen.

Meanwhile, the issues with this team are what I've been saying the last three offseasons: defense and defensive pass protection.

I thought he did, too, but I need to watch it more carefully. Enough conflicting reports after the game, and he wasn't someone I was focused on.

Don't you get tired of this? You know the ending. Me being right and you telling me I was just guessing. That you sorta figured he was a long shot and over drafted but nobody could know that until years later when it was obvious to the most Melvin among us.

4th rounders don't have the cards stacked against them. You just showed how little you understand the draft making a statement like that.

Bad 4th rounders. Guys who came into the draft with a free agent grade. The Matt Johnsons of the world. Those guys have the cards stacked against them.

My evaluations are typically off. LOL. That's rich coming from you. Do yourself a favor and borrow my opinions. Savor the flavor of not being the last to know for once.

Bernadeau is not a good starter. Right on that.

Phil Costa does not belong in the league and is now out of it. Nailed it.

There hasn't been a defense impacted by cornerbacks in the history of football and our CB shopping spree of 2012, celebrated by the likes of you, provided jack and squat impact to our defense. I couldn't have been more right.

I don't remember calling Hatcher a JAG. In fact I do remember posting a thread on his odd career where he was a JAG in his younger days but kept the arrow pointing up into his 30's. I suspect you're desperate here for something, anything, you can spin to make me feel like I'm wrong a lot too. Just like you.

Who said anything about spending 60 million on a G? Do you believe this stuff when you type it? I didn't. I wouldn't want to spend 60 million on any player if I can help it, but I would have....and this is where I may have confused you....taken some of the money we flushed down the toilet on Brandon Carr and used it to sign Ben Grubbs. Because I understand football.

Yes. I have no objections to taking a G first overall in the draft. In your attempt to discredit me you simply expose your own lack of knowledge on the game. You wouldn't blink an eye if a CB went #1 overall, despite weekly evidence from your beloved team that they don't matter. Yet you would scoff at an interior OL, despite weekly evidence last year of how immediate the impact can be when you have a stud in the middle there.

Spencer? I said he wasn't a good player? Find that comment. Maybe I type in my sleep. What I did say when I was awake is he's never been a consistent productive pass rusher and a quick review of his career will back me up on that.

I don't need to watch more carefully. He wasn't good.

Here was @FuzzyLumkins' review of him:
"I certainly noticed when Bishop came in. He was hardly perfect but at least he offered resistance. He is raw as a ribeye cut straight from the cow. You can see him taking to coaching as he is using the technique but he is a beat slow to drop the knee on the double team and his footwork needs to get better on the stretch play. He had his issues but he seem the only DT capable of competing on run downs on the evening."

Bernadeau was part of what most consider the best season (2013) for the Cowboys OLine in many years. That's not bad for about 2M per year. Livings was injured and never recovered.

Bmac?

Bryan McCann? That guy's out of the league. What the hell is that guy talking about?

I get ridiculed for trying to 'look smart,' but I will be the first to admit that I am often wrong. That is because I am not afraid to take chances and try and understand things that i do not know. when you hear this kind of ****, you can be confident that they are not telling you the truth and are just trying to 'look smart.'

lmao....if you are married, I feel sorry for your wife! Why you think you are the say all, be all, is a bad trait to have in life, football or otherwise. Learn this word...

"Conceited" means having "an excessively favorable opinion of one's own ability, importance, wit, etc."

You are about as important as you think a DB is!

Seriously guy you are a joke. You have a bigger ego than Jerry, T.O and Ocho Cinco put together. So what if you got a few things right before, the sun shines on everybody at some point. To think you are always right and actually believe it is borderline insanity and frankly disgusting. You try to bully people and is not going to work.

You have some good input sometimes and valid points other times but let's stop with the I'm so better and always right BS you speaking all the time.

You pat yourself on the back, you want a cookie, make you feel better

Let's please keep criticisms to arguments and not posters. Or move them to PMs.

I know I'm part of this particular dog pile, but there's sufficient room to pick on all of us for what we sometimes post on the merits, or lack thereof, of the arguments. Gloves off is fun sometimes, but let's not get personal, ok?

So now it's Mack is not a good starter @Risen Star. Not too long ago he sucked along with Free. Do you think people forget what you say?

My stance has always been Bernadeau is a good backup C/G capable of filling in in spots. He's not a starter and not the way you address the crisis we had along the OL that offseason. Which is probably why despite his signing and his likeness Nate Livings, the OL didn't improve at all. It took a serious commitment in a couple of top draft choices to turn it around.

Perhaps you should just pay better attention.
