Just bring in Freeny and be done with this Hardy talk. I too hoped for the best with Hardy but that ship has sailed. AS far as a MLB, bring in either Durant or that dude from Detroit. Relatively cheap bandaids.

I say go out swinging. They already took the PR hit. Go get him and let the chips fall where they may.

I don't think that the bad PR is the reason why the Cowboys aren't interested. He's been portrayed, at least by the media, and a lockeroom malcontent.

I wouldn't want either, no more stop gaps. But then again we need to stop drafting/signing head cases.

If they was going to keep him, they never should have released him. He needed an offseason program to knock the rust off.

For the sake of accuracy, they didn't release him. He was on a one year deal. They chose not to re-sign him.

It's not the PR that is the problem. It's inside the lockerroom.

that is the company line from the Minister of Information.....the truth lies closer to doing JGarrett's work for him and eliminating a square peg...RKGs are much easier to coach

Exactly. Strong coaches handle pain in the *** players. Weak ones can't.

Johnson handled a far worse player in Charles Haley. He managed Michael Irvin, who was no picnic either

Parcells managed Lawrence frickin' Taylor who makes Hardy look like a choir boy! And he also managed to co-exist with a first-class ******* like Keyshawn Johnson. Good coaches get it done and make it work. Bad coaches can't, and need everything working in their favor to stand a chance.

The minute Hardy smacked Rich Bisacia's clipboard he was done here and probably throughout the league. It was either him or Ginger. No way Ginger was willing to find himself on the receiving end of a Hardy slap a year or two down the road. And I don't blame him. You don't show respect for the coach? Don't expect ANY coach to come to your aide when you are looking for a job. Here or elsewhere.

It was Garrett's job to gain his respect. People like Hardy can sense weakness. A tough coaching staff doesn't have these problems.
