LOL!
I got a little paranoid reading that post from Reality
Here's a coach who had a horrendous owner and gm (sound familiar) and his first 5 seasons were
6-10
7-9
7-9
11-5
5-11
Goes by the name Bill Belichik. I understand not all the circumstances are the same but there's a reason why every coach that comes through here may have a good season or two but ultimately they're a flash in the pan and that's due to a bad owner and/or GM. In our case it happens to be both. Same with the Jets, Bills, etc. You've got to cut the head off the snake which is Jerry. Every now and then Jerry may catch lightning in a bottle but ultimately he has no idea how to build a team.
Lots of arm chair QB’s on this board.
So that is the LATEST excuse not to fire Garrett? And again, Jerry Jones is holding this team back much more than JG. Look what the Eagles added to their roster in the past two years both in the draft an FA then look at us. When their players go down they have the depth or go out and get someone (ie Ajayi). When our players go down we plug in a hobbled LB or a turnstile or rookie mid round secondary players. Thankyou Jerry Jones.
Ur weren’t the last 51 others.I think I'm the last holdout. I have been steady in saying give Garrett time to fix it but I think I'm finally done. Him marinelli and linehan all can go. And hell if Dak is only good with Zeke and can't do nothing by himself he can go too for all i care
In my opinion it's one of many reasons not to fire him this year and in case you haven't noticed pretty much every topic in the main forum is some sort of excuse that varies every week from play to play, coach to coach, game to game. But yes, it's my excuse not to fire JG and I would say the same thing if the next greatest latest coach came in here and started off with two losing seasons (with an exception here and there). Money aside, I feel bad for anyone who coaches this team as long as Jerry is alive. So that is the LATEST excuse not to fire Garrett?

We've had a bunch of coaches here with similar up and down results. I personally think it is our player philosophy that is the root problem. We go for high reward players that have either character or injury problems. When those players are on the field we are indeed championship level, and when they are out -- which is often -- we don't have much depth behind them and falter. Is there a vote to ban the 50+ dopes who say to keep Garrett? Get those hammerheads outta here too! LOL
He is in my dreams. We just won the SB.So did the poll work??
Is he fired yet?

We drafted Frederick and Martin not because we executed some genius plan, but because we were unable to execute the trade that we wanted and these were our fallback guys. Imagine if we just picked solid players instead of trying to hit home runs.

You have to ruin everything for me!BB was actually a savant before he reached CLE (2x SB winner as DC for the Giants, schematic force behind LT). But once there, he turned the franchise around. It was a one-win team before he arrived. He had the GOAT coaching staff (Newsome, Saban, and others were amongst it).
CLE's last PO victory was with BB at the helm, against none other than the Pats. His last season doesn't count, as that was amidst their move from Cleveland to Baltimore.
This narrative that BB "failed in CLE" is so off base (not directed at you, Aria).

I won't sit here and defend Marinelli like Garrett and I think if there's one legitimate reason to get on JG it's due to Marinelli (if indeed that's a 100% JG choice and not Jerry choice; anyone know the facts on that?).i think i have seen:
1 more year - what? 7 not enough?
jerry's fault - how do you explain DBs magically improving (top 10 ratings) after leaving Dallas. jerry also does not coach.
not enough good players - coaches had lots of input in drafting and FA. remember marinelli's guy - ivie? lol
did i miss anything else?
It was tech jargon and it will definitely lose what little humor it had if explained
