Should Orton fill in as starter for Dallas

Because he's our BACKUP insurance policy which every team has??? And has had since the 1800s. Most Teams don't have backups because they secretly believe their starter can't get it done. Duh.

Second, Dez took himself out for about 90% of that last drive we kicked the fg on....and after the game we found out it was because his back was stiff and he couldn't move well.

i have more of a complaint with out drs and conditioning team than i do other units right now. This MUST be addressed, our guys cant stay healthy.

Sure, being the reason im the coach and my job security is on the line, yea, id rather play the hurt qb instead of a healthy, one. Remind me all the coaches that like that idea and where they are at?

My qb is hurt and i spent money and a roster spot on a back up, the back up better be ready. Or else im bringing up the kid on PS and maybe get a few years out of him at a cheaper rate if i dont believe in my QB, because lets face it, i love me some unemployment.

Well considering our guys are usually banged up and take longer to heal and be ready, or we just play them hurt because as ive stated, Garrett is really proving he doesnt want thsi job, yes id start making changes there, a stiff back is one thing, fine, but the offense should be workign with Harris and making sure he knows hes the number 3 guy. I dont want to see Williams in games just yet, just because he was drafted or signed, like when i saw him in teh GIants game, games like that. But Harris could be worked into the offense more often than he is so hes ready and warmed up for this type of situations. It was a bad call on our side to A) hope Romo makes the season unscathed, and B, not work some of the recievers into the offense so they are ready for prime time. Harris showed he wasnt ready and its not because hes a bad player.

Yeah, for whatever reason, our drive was effectively over with that Harris penalty. No one could get open, or Romo couldn't find them if they were open. He just threw check-downs to Witten and missed two of them - not that it really mattered because they wouldn't have picked up any yardage to speak of anyway even if they were complete. I hope we activate Beasley next week; maybe he can get open in the middle.

Because It's hard to argue with someone who contradicts themselves the minute their ignorance is called on. This thread is pointless. guy, if your qb is hurt, hes NOT doing you any good. Even if he goes in there to hand uit off the D is going to figure it out. OUr running game doesnt suck because they are there, they suck because this organization should have dumped two of them last season and churned the roster, we are standing here with a loss because we didnt get better RB;s, plain and simple, But if your qb is hurt, dont play him or have a back up if you are not going to use him.
