Permanently, if you ask me. Been saying for two years now.

I Orton starts:

1. We would have more than two td drives in two weeks

2. The run game would be better because defenses would have to respect Orton's arm.

3. We would attack the middle of the field. Romo cant read defenses down field. Reason for all the short passes

4. Dez Bryany would be unleashed

5. Our offense would move at a faster pace

6. Jason Witten and Miles and the others would be used properly

7. We would average 25+ points

8. The entire spirit of the team would be lifted to the stadiums roof

9. Jason Garrett and Jerry Jones might be a little more appreciated

10. We could finally put the Romo era to bed... It's over

if you dont believe Orton can complete a quarter, when do you use him, or why did you resign him or keep him? its that simple. Sorry if it eludes you like it does this team.

guy, if your qb is hurt, hes NOT doing you any good. Even if he goes in there to hand uit off the D is going to figure it out. OUr running game doesnt suck because they are there, they suck because this organization should have dumped two of them last season and churned the roster, we are standing here with a loss because we didnt get better RB;s, plain and simple, But if your qb is hurt, dont play him or have a back up if you are not going to use him.

I don't think he was hurt enough to affect the game.He made some good plays. He had no help (bad run blocking, stupid penalties, dropped balls). Orton would have fared no better. That's my opinion. A QBs BFF is a run game. Cest le vie.... If we don't start running the ball this season we are screwed. Period.

ur run game sucks because our runners suck. now if you keep your runners because their best quality is the fact that they suck, why are you arguing with me, A running game could be a qbs bff, but let you bring you up to speed, WE DONT HAVE A GOOD RB.

So with tha tbeing said, what do you do? Please tell us,

Ps, you might not have thought he was hurt enough, but the evidence suggests otherwise,

PPS, learn to understand evidence, and if need be, google it, because the scoreboard says otherwise.

He was definitely hurt. Romo is usually more accurate than this. He was missing receivers left and right in the last few drives. Something was wrong with him. Romo's problem in the past has not been his accuracy but his decision making. He was either hurt, or he has really declined a lot in a very short time (possible, but unlikely).

You run the ball more than 12 times and use 2 and 3 back sets. You shift around your Oline. You get sneaky. End arounds. receiver screens. Change it up. Unless you are down 3 TDs no reason to abandon the run.

your RBS suck, this fact doesnt change, even if you get them open they either run into their own guys or hit the ground.

WHAT DO YOU DO!!!!!!!

Perhaps you missed the reaction in Cowboys Stadium when Romo went down? I didn't see any lifted spirits, everyone just held their breath and hoped he wasn't out for the season.

It's late, so someone else can deal with the other 9.

I Disagree.

Done.

exactly, when teh challange arrives, you run,

You know what you do, you listen to some people, poeple have said Demarco has no vision, proof is in the video, okay, so hes not going to be helpful. Dunbar proves to you time and time again hes not ready for the big show. okay, gone. You have Tanner, who hasnt proven much and a 5th rounder, you banked had some skills.

Sadly you either go into the season with Tanner and Randle or you dig for another RB. There are options, possibly not great, but right now you have no run game so your only other option is a lateral move, or up, either sounds better than going into the season with no running game. Your running backs suck. Accept it, they have.

People are stupid. They fear the unknown. Even if the known sucks. I would rather give the unknown a try because the known ain't gonna get it done!

fine, than why are we eeping him? can you at least expplain that than.

Because there are no NFL teams that carry only one QB. He is there and there only in case Romo goes down. He is the best back-up they could get for the time being but he is in no way a starter anymore.

Sure, he might be a very short temporary fix because opponents won't gameplan for him but that won't last past one game.

if you dont trust him to fill in for a quarter, than you have to wait til Romos dead before you put him in? why bother?

I don't think our RBs suck. I think our coaches do. And have thought so for 3 years. Our
OLine has performed inconsistantlly for much longer. you can not debate that. Our RBS are average and good enough to win. So yeah, I'm done.

I'm just answering your question on why he is on the roster. I imagine there are at least 20 other teams that won't put in their back-up either.

Me personally, I probably would have pulled him in the 4th for Kyle only because it was obvious Romo was hurting. In no way do I start Orton the next game unless absolute necessary.

i thank you, and i agree with you. I just find it odd that some would toss the dice with an unhealthy Romo instead of a healthy Orton. Thats just us i guess, thanks for the info.
