Should we consider switching out Parker for Quinn if Commanders sack him?

yes.
it should happen immediately.
i say the same if tampa were to move on from todd bowles.
parker is incompetent.
quinn is not.
at least under him,the players would know what they are doing.
they don't under parker.
its obvious.

He just choked the game away and couldn't even beat the Cowboys Yeah that's one of our two wins yeah that's what he's comping out right He just blew the game like he usually does he chokes in big games so I say you're 100 percent wrong We don't need another retread you need to give Christian Parker a full season That's how it works when you go to college or you go through high school and you go through an entire year not have a couple of tests failed or just a bad course that just wasn't going right but you can get it corrected by the end of the year..

I just want to see progress but the injuries you have to put that in there but it's also not the coach's fault coaching the players to do it right and they don't execute and they do it wrong how is that all on Christian Parker you're blaming this on coaching and schemes without watching the games how are missed tackles when you're right there or sacks that should happen because you're right there you're it's like they're standing there in slow motion while the other teams playing in fast motion but they're a fingertip away from getting a sack and don't or that crack on that 70 yard run by Bucky Irving you don't remember they were sitting right there literally They were playing gap control there were seven Cowboys right there in blue jerseys and he just slips right through how is that Parker's fault there were plenty of players in position to make a tackle and they don't even see him I see that blown coverages how is that his fault yes playing too far off the ball I seen it Yep maybe he needs to be a little bit more pressure oriented and create blitz packages i'm sure they'll figure something out down the road but there are a lot of things wrong with this team and it's not the coach and the scheme 100% give that a little bit of a rest I watched the games there are so much execution problems and communication problems is not the coaches fault you can do all you can during the week and practice in film sessions and then have them just blow it that is on players.

No he's not been perfect but it's only been five games he's been missing key players and he brought here for his defense He has not seen his entire defense play together yet that is slowing things down when you have guys like Ready Stewart and Bell playing more and some of the young guys that James the the this other safety Clark I mean when those guys are on the field you know something's wrong But yes there's been problems it needs to be fixed but you're ridiculous that statement alone is so ridiculous I mean all those things you said it's not obvious what's obvious is you don't know football you're a casual blaming the coach for all the mess that's here and there are far more than coaching issues..

Let's watch Dan Quinn for like the 10th time I can remember he's been in the NFL making terrible decisions as a coach whether it's as ADC or an HC He is not perfect either and I watched him get dismantled in a 2023 playoff game with the Cowboys That was just one of the moments there are many more and then in the NFC Championship game look like a high school team. I mean they got absolutely demolished anytime they come up against better opponents he gets smashed typically..

so he you act like this dude's imperfect he's going to fix everything here as bad as Rusty, you're both wrong This would be a mess changing coaches in the middle of the season and he's a 43 coach makes no sense. Been switching to a 34 if you're gonna ask for help which I think is stupid anyway you wanna consultant it has to be someone that runs a 34 defense and that's very familiar with things that Parker has taken from other DCS that he learned under that were mostly 34..

I'm saying I've seen it all across sports i've seen it in basketball wasn't there a moment in basketball I can't remember it was college or the pros but it was a big game A championship game and somebody turned around and called the time out and they didn't have it and it cost them the game..

Not just the timeouts and time management i'm saying all coaches make mistakes on the fly because it's live they're under pressure fans like to use hindsight or they're sitting there in their couch and thinking they would have made the better decision without realizing when they're actually in the mess It's difficult It's more difficult than people think..

Mistakes are being made all around the league including yesterday all all season but you look all the way back you can remember these plays look at the bad calls that Dan Quinn had in the Super Bowl to lose that second half yes they lost that game by Matt bad decisions and whatnot How about Pete Carroll calling a pass play when Beast Mode was on fire from the 1 yard line and then everyone will blame Russell Wilson for throwing the ball and all that no he made a bad decision he probably should have ran the ball In that ironic they should have ran the ball more when they're inside the three in a critical situation when you have a running back that's known for dragging people for a couple of yards?

But yeah it happens I think that's why I think they're being way too hard on Brian Schottnheimer what we need fixed is the defensive side and the special teams But we lose focus sometimes and we want to put all the blame on the quarterback and the head coach it's pretty typical I get it They're the faces of the team but I think it's a the criticism is OK but I think it's too much criticism It's going to the wrong spot they're losing games because of the defense and special teams.
It does happen. That was my point about Landry. Even HoF coaches aren’t immune. But that doesn’t make it excusable. It’s particularly worse if the HC is not also calling the plays, which Quinn is not (at least offensively; not sure defensively).

we dont have the talent for a 3/4.
parker should switch back to a 4/3.
and i'm talking about bringing in quinn AFTER the season.
but its obvious parker simply DOES NOT KNOW what he is doing.
and its obvious the players do not as well.

Maybe maybe not. How can you tell when our NT is playing DE?

i just want him to try something different.
because the x's and o's on his white board ain't working.
maybe let gary and eze get their hands in the dirt at de spots?
with q and clark at dt.
barham at mlb.
but what they are doing now is putrid.

Our front '5' is perfect for a 3-4. We need better play at ILB
75% of NFL teams use a 3-4 base.
Let's have better coaching and better play
Let's stop blaming the scheme. Other teams know what they are doing, so why can't we?

Will make no differnce-we have actually seen 4 man lines with Gary playing in the dirt. Solves nothing.

They are building it you are not a we they are a they you're not part of it I know you think you are and you're dead wrong you're not an executive you're not a football guy they are let them work out the kinks that's what they're doing they're switching from a 34 to a 43 and they brought over a ton of players that can run it and they yes they need more but you can't do that in one offseason, So go kick rocks..

I love the Super casual screen champion the the Internet GM per se they think they know everything and then you have people starting threads that are ridiculous and then ridiculous agreements inside that thread from a fan base that's never coached pro ball if any ball at all your little league doesn't count neither does Madden and neither does fantasy ball..lmao

exactly that's a good point to add it makes it worse,

All his job is as a walk around coach is to make these decisions and get ahead of it and he didn't get ahead of it..

Quinn's defense in Washington is almost as bad as the Cowboys. His defense made Winston look like a future Hall of Famer. I would prefer someone else.

If the Commanders sack Quinn....... should we consider switching out Parker for him? Don't get me wrong, I am trying to be patient with Parker, but if we can bring back Quinn in some capacity, that might help our defence? He knew how to make our defence good.

Legit, if Washington sacks Quinn, the Cowboys may have won without playing today. If nothing else, him and Parker would make a great tag team. Quinn's specialty is dline. Parker is supposed to be good with secondary. Those two working together. We might be able to make our D much better quickly.
Rewatch the Packers playoff game....no thank you

i need to be more careful when casting pearls.

Correct and the couple Denver games Arizona games And don't forget Washington's game in the NFC championship game dog walked.. Oh wait the the second half of the Super Bowl how about the watermelon game when he was on the other side you remember the watermelon kick yeah deuce makes bad decisions as well if you try to get rid of people are help people I don't think that's the answer...

Great question. For some reason DQ is the only person on earth who can give us a competent D. Only problem this time is no Micah. So not so sure how DQs D will work with no pass rush at all.
Do miss all those turnovers his D'S would produce. Id like Al Harris back too. Our secondary has been garbage without him when it used to be a strength.
