Should we take the offer and trade out for two firsts next year?

I say make the trade. I agree that we are hoping to contend this year but in reality would anybody that is available at 22 be able to make an immediate impact? I am not sure that that type of player,considering our current team is available. So trade now, get a Hoss next time.

No, trading for second round pick this year would cost you a first round next year of the same overall pick. Meaning, if you trade for the 23rd overall pick in the second round, it's value is the 23rd overall pick in the first round next year. It's an expensive game to play, but if you want instant gratification, it's going to cost you!
