On a positive note the Cowboys are 4-3 after their first 7 games compared to 3-4 in 2011 and 2012. The Cowboys didn't have back to back wins until weeks 10 and 11 last season. This will be a difficult game for the Cowboys to win but they are on a bit of a roll so that should increase their chances. The defense has looked better the past 2 weeks although they weren't facing real productive QB's. RG3 has been off all season and Foles was miserably yesterday missing open receivers. The Lions game will give us a good idea of where the Cowboys defense is.

Good post - the defense has looked better while the offense hasn't. If they could put a complete game together on both sides of the ball the Cowboys should win. It's a big game because if they could take care of business against the Vikings the following week they could get a little separation and put themselves in a good spot.

I feel like we should worry about every team left on the schedule. But there's no one we can't beat if we're on our game. It depends who shows up.

i agree 100%, and would add there's no one we cant loose to, if we have too many penaltys and dont take care of the ball.

Detroit has the best receiver in the game. We need to stick with the man to man coverage.

Our Oline will have their hands full with this bunch.

This will be a close match up and I think the boys prove the naysayers wrong and pull out the win.

id be impressed if there was. Overall should the Lions be afraid of us? no, we bring nothing more than they do, just a few differences. Our biggest question against the Lions, can we deal with a qb whos going to hit his recievers? The run im fine wiht and th eLions have no said runner who we should fear. What the Lions can do better than us, is play a solid D, and score points. We do one or the other, on rare occasion both. Its going to answer some questions for us.

Our biggest question, which Cowboys team shows up? That will set the game and the day for us. If the defense fails, Stafford is going to be clucking like a champ thinking hes all that. If tha tD comes but the offense doesnt, the Romo haters are going to be all over it. We just arent consistent and its one of the factors pissing some fans off.

A prediction usually is a score. A prediction also doesn't start with 'I don't think'. A prediction usually is 'We aren't going to win this game'.

Yup. They have CJ we have Dez, but we also have T Williams who is hot right now and beasley - their other options do not present the same problems IMO. Witten greater than Pettigrew and Romo better than Stafford. I also like our LB and secondary better than theirs.

It is a road game and not certain how well we will run the ball but i still see enough to beleive in a cowboys victory.

Outside of being a dirty player who cares about Sue 3.5 sacks hell Hatcher has 6 on the season maybe Stafford better be worried about Hatch. Det has 13 sacks on the season while Dallas has 20 sacks and that is with a beat up no name DL.

That I can't deny that, however given the fact he is about to have another visit with the league office I think refs will be keeping a close eye on Suh I don't think it would take much to get him kicked out of the game.
