It also had panic written all over it. And "Portis' injury is way worse than we're telling anyone" written all over it. And "Portis injury is a chronic thing" written all over it.

It also has "Denver bent us over AGAIN" written all over it.

Think about it. Denver traded them Portis for the best corner in the league and a second round draft pick. Now, Portis is injured, so the Skins panic. Atlanta gets Lelie, Washington gets Portis, and Denver gets a thrid, and possibly a big move up in the 2007 draft.

Champ Bailey, 2nd rounder, 3rd rounder, and a possible high draft pick for Portis.

Yeah, that front office hasn't screwed anything up. :lmao2:

If I was running the skins I would not do any more trades with Denver. If I'm running the Cowboys I don't play with Seattle either. :laugh2:

***? The Commanders gave up a possible 2007 1st round and 3rd round draft choice for Duckett? At ES, they say Gibbs in running the show. I can't believe Gibbs would do something so freakin stupid. This has Synder written all over it.

I don't agree. Gibbs has done this kind of thing his whole career. Long before Little Nepolean ever became the owner. I think that was all Gibbs.

No sources... it seemed as if it had been a much-discussed topic over there last month when the trade first went down, though. I'm sure they have their version of AdamJT13 over there to get to the bottom of things like this. Plus, I think they even have Redsk*n front-office guys that troll around on the message board.

I'm not saying what I posted is 100% accurate, I'm saying that's the story over there. And honestly, it makes a lot more sense than the idea that they would conceivably give up the #1 overall pick for the #32 overall pick. I have to think even Snyder isn't that stupid.
I remember reading somewhere that the most places that Denver can move up is 9 from like 31 to 22. Apparently the trade is so complex that it can end in almost a thousand ways. I don't have exacts, but i know that denver doesnt just automatically get our 1st rounder

I was wondering if the Skins brought back Bobby Bethard as a consultant or something

I picked the Texans also. The foreskins can't score, they can't cover on D and the have zero pass rush. That's a bad combonation. Johnson and Moulds will kill them.

Sometimes I have to ask myself whether I enjoy a cowboys win more, or a Commanders loss more.

Its not as simple as you may think.

There is NO way that's happening. None.

I'd love it, although I hate the Texans. But they are HORRIBLE.

Do you agree that there's more of a chance of the Texans beating the Commanders than any other team in the NFC East? Because it strikes me that Philly was in trouble early in that opener with Houston.

Philly's offense is WAY better than what Washington has shown, and their D looks better too. Washington is without Springs another game right? I wouldn't say there's no possibility... stranger things have happened.

I suspect the Skins will take down the Texans. I think Mr. King is just trying to start a fire in the nations capital.

I think so too. I don't think their defense will up 24 to Houston.

I feel the same way about seeing Philadelphia lose. I got to host my neighbor who is an Eagle fan last week, and it made my day to watch him squirm all through the 4th quarter and overtime as the giants came back to win.

Should the Texans actually beat the Redstinks, that is really gonna leave a mark. All that money for a 0-3 start? Ouch! Oh the best part? Week 4 they play Jacksonville. I smell a train wreck.

The almighty Adam Shefter picked the Texan's on NFLN too. yippee.
The Texans are a dreadful team, as much as I'd like to see it happen, I can't see the Skins losing this game. I think the 49ers have a better chance of upsetting the Eagles than the Texans beating the Commanders.
