So your basic line of argument is, somebody sending somebody to the bench, despite the TYPE of hit is the exact same?

See the difference is Roy landed funny on Owens and caused a broken leg. That was neither Roy's ability nor Owens' lack thereof. Taylor just hit him really hard and caused some jarring. I doubt it was a simple, oh I landed funny thing. Hitting the ground without twisting or ackward positions happens in football on just about every play.

Roy didn't land on Owens, it was a horsecoller, Owens back came backwards and twisted(because Roy was holding it) while his legs stayed in the same spot causing his leg to break. The tackle Riggo keeps harping about is Taylor grabbing TO from behind and turning him and pulling him to the ground. See the simililarities neither was a "big hit". Maybe you should know what you're talking about before you start yapping.

one thing I find incredibly ******** is somebody declaring themselves the winner of anything. Unless it's a race, where you crossed the line well before somebody else, you can't declare yourself a winner! That's like a boxer, after fighting to a judge's decision, raising his own arm. Good job dude, I'm glad you think you won.

The hit he keeps saying "taylor sent TO to the bench" was TO landing funny during a normal tackle so you lose my friend. I guess it's ok for a fellow Commanders fan to say "hey taylor sent TO to the bench" with a standard tackle but it's not ok for a Cowboy fan, I see how th is works. lolZ, thanks for playing.

your definition of 'hit' varies by the second.

taylor tackled TO hard. TO went to the bench. that's all i ever claimed.

Oh okay dude. Roy didn't hit very well last season. He never could cover.

And hold off judgment on how great your team is until you play a game or two.

that's funny coming from a fan whose safety was the most burned player in league history

I can talk all I want, this is a playoff team that is stacked across the board

Your stacked on paper... Hmmm... That rings a bell...

Let's see, the Commanders were "a playoff team that was stacked on paper in training camp in 2006"...

If losing to the horribly depleted Seahawks in the first round gives you pleasure, then you keep truckin' buddy!

your D lacked talent heading into '06, and guess what? it bombed during the season, suprise and Taylor sucked, just like we predicted

it's funny how a fan whose team picked 6th overall is talking smack, why don't you go to a Cleveland Brown message board and flap your gums, they're more your ilk

... I never changed my definition of hit I just stopped using the "" marks. I said Taylor's "big hit" that took TO out wasn't a hit at all but was a tackle and that's what I called Roy's "hit" a tackle. So honestly I don't know what you're talking about other then deverting attention from your flawed argument.

Our D didn't "lack talent". We relied on Springs to stay healthy (probably not a good idea) and when he didn't, threw Rogers to the dogs. Then, because we had Rogers and Wright starting, had to move back into a cover-2 and completely f-ed our run defense (which was actually pretty stout heading into week 4 or 5) up.

Let's look at the facts. Springs was never healthy, and accordingly, the entire defense suffered. We also had other players in and out due to injury, but whatever, we'll just focus this. Springs is, arguably, the best player on our D.

Ellis exits due to an achilles problem. The decline of the defense, at that point, put Dallas as the worst D in the league (30.6 points given up a game). Ellis is probably your 4th or 5th best player on D.

So, in summary, you lose your 4th or 5th best player and become a worse defense then Washington (who lost their best) and yet, you are stacked on paper???

Interesting logic...

Oh okay... And that matters here and now??? You somehow get a pass into the playoffs based on, well they were good last year???

What's funny about this picture? I don't know? Maybe the fact that Roy isn't on TO? Yeah that could be it. See that's how you lose, you made a statement without knowing the facts, I corrected you and restated my point.

you forget that you didn't have pass-rushers and finished '06 w/ only 19 team sacks, and because your pass-rush sucked, your cover-2 got exposed, which caused you to allow a boatload of big plays in the passing game, and frankly, Springs is an injury-prone player, I don't know why you're relying on him to stay healthy

wait, we lost Ellis? he's going to get beat out by Anthony Spencer anyways

hell, Ware had only 8 1/2 less sacks than your team, by himself, and then we added a very good pass-rusher in Spencer, w/ Ellis coming in on passing situations, combine that w/ our better secondary, and well, you get the picture...and don't forget our new scheme is much harder for opposing teams to figure out, yet easy for the players to learn

and even if we lose Ellis, which we haven't, one player isn't going to tank our D to Commander level

If Springs is healthy, I have absolutely no fear of TO. TO has never done anything against Springs.

it's already been established that Commander fans can't interpret pictures and videos

remember the face-mask debate?
