Think about this. The Chargers at the end of last season were talking about Franchising Brees and trading Rivers. Then Brees got hurt and the equation has completely reversed. I like Drew Brees but there is a saying in Real Estate that is pertinent here. The Latin saying is "Caveat Emptor," and it means "let the buyer beware.

More than most, I want a young QB to start building for the long haul. This isn't the young QB I want.

To me, its not whether or not Brees is better than Bledsoe, but whether or not he is better than Henson. We are very close to having a very competive team again and going deep in the playoffs for the next several years.. when will we have a chance to sign a young QB again? To move up in the top 10 from a late 20s spot in the draft would take alot of picks. Bledsoe only has a couple of years at most left as a starter in this league. This kid has a lot of up side,, and i know its a gamble with his shoulder,, but so is taking a qB early in the draft and grooming him. I would hate to be 3 years out, with a dominent D, and all the weapons of O we could want, except a QB. Getting Brees now would be a good move. And if he out performs Bledsoe in Camp, then he starts, if not, he is #2.

if Brees comes here Bledsoe will start sucking bad!!...I dont like him under QB controversy, he talkes the talk but stumbles bad in the walking the walk.


Keep Bledsoe happy for another Year see what he can do...if he's laying eggs then ditch the man.

NFLE hasn't started yet. All they've had are practices and every review from practice has been pretty complimentary.
