I'm more concerned with him holding the ball too long in the pocket. He has to understand that you don't have 7 seconds to throw the ball. I know our offensive line is great, but he has to be more decisive about getting the ball out. It is really hard to criticize him on this because he is a rookie, but he certainly isn't playing like one! :)

I have been pointing this out as well. On most OL Dak would have about half of the time he has enjoyed for 12 weeks to throw the ball. He has to understand its not normal to have that much time to throw. Eventually Dallas started to leak at RT. He must adjust his game accordingly which I think he will. Just practice the quick slant with Dez and make that his money throw.

I'm sure he thought he had the first down.

The old rules would say he's not down until touched, regardless of the slide.
Now, once they slide, as soon as part of them is down, that's it.
It's for his protection but it is a bit odd.

I need official ruling on this. Is it knee, shin (and how can you tell when shin is down). And what about lateral malleolous..can they start calling that down.

Almost as bad as "is it a catch or not"
Confusing to me
