I was with you until the stupidity of "what have you done" comment.

By that insane logic, one cannot criticize any player, because, well, what have any of us done? No one here has played professional football at this level.

Critcize for what Protecting himself from an on coming hit? You don't have to play to be able to use common sense. There is a LB coming up fast this is why Dak slide to begin with. RGIII was not smart enough to do those things and that is why he is in the situation he is in.

Dak needs to run through the sticks and convert that third down, it ends the game....staying in bounds is irrelevant when you don't convert...I don't remember seeing s defender ready to lay him out...regardless...he needs to get past the sticks...must say I was quite disappointed in that play...
The fact dak made that play happen when it broke down was amazing. Dak's legs won us that game yesterday. And coming up inches short lol there was worse things yesterday then that

No. I've never used drugs.

I'm trying to figure out what your reply to my response has to do with my actual response.

My response was to another poster who does nothing but slam the HC, a HC who has this team playing the best ball in franchise history record wise. I'm sorry I get sick and tired of these mindless comment to rip on Garrett and act as if they could do a better job. Based on what? their expertise? It is one thing being critical and another when you see the same posters looking for any reason to slam Garrett and his staff.

Accusation try not knowing what the hell you are talking about. There is a LB coming into the play even Collingsworth mentions the same thing, Dak did what he needed to do. Blaming Garrett is beyond lame but then his critics need to grasp at anything they can. He has this team playing at a franchise record setting pace and all you people do is whine about something you have no clue about. It is beyond pathetic to see so called fans ripping on Garrett his team is 11-1 what have you done? By the way I do read the post I just fine it humiliating that so many claim to be Cowboy fans yet whine about every single thing as if you could do a better job. Laughable!!!
man you are acting thick.....all I said was Garrett didn't go him any favors standing 2 yards short and waving his arms and you got all butt sore and got your Garrett PJs in a bunch.....and you still have no clue what I am even talking about so please step off since you can't keep up

you must have skipped my 12 other posts on the matter clearly defending Dak's play.......I made one simple comment about Garrett and you go all DeNiro on me........lighten up Francis......I haven't said boo about Garrett all year

You step off, you and your lame arguments? Go get a clue for a change. You people look for things to whine about. Dak did right by getting down instead of taking the hit if you had an ounce of sense you would see the LB coming up quickly on the play which was why Dak was getting down not because Garrett was waving his arms.

I just watched the replay several times and Dak got hosed on the call...his knee hit right at the first down marker but JGarrett didn't do him any favors.......he was standing 2 yards short at the 30 pointing to go down.......at least stand at the yard to get......plus Smith and Hendricks were closing fast and about to drill him

Overall great awareness and execution kid.......don't change a thing

Wow, I was so hard on Garrett.....I apologize to Doom....and so negative about the whole play....here is another shot

An he did learn ! "Prescott said after the game he had learned a lesson. He either needed to dive in head first or slide later when he was sure he was past the marker."

Actually job #1 is self preservation. I will give up that first down if it means Dak doesn't go into concussion protocol or even out for the season due to injury. He did the right thing. He was about to get hammered and worse if he goes in head first.

He was not about to get hammered, watch the tape....thanks for missing the point, of course self preservation comes first....another half step, then slide and and he isn't touched
