Is Duckett worth a 3rd and a 4th? Not in my book. I'd gripe about a 3rd for him. Plus they could have to move back in round 1 if the Skins are worse than they are.

Is it just me or does Denver continue to rape the Skins in Draft pick trades?

Shanahan's sitting around early....

"We've got some useless parts. We really need to deal Lelie."

"The Falcons are interested. But they don't have anything we want."

"Is there any way we can get the Skins involved? Maybe they could donate more draft picks to our lopsided trade fund?"

They don't have a 2nd rounder. That went to the Jets. They might not have a 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

If I were a fan of that team I would hate that with a purple passion.
You know I agree. But I have a couple of friends that are Skins fans and they just accept their situation like it isn't a big deal. They do agree that our situation with the last few drafts have us sitting pretty right now.

Duckett not a bad move for Commanders and glad to see Lelie not in Philly.
Actually I wanted Lelie to end up in Philly. He isn't anything special and can't shake Henry or TNew.

It's not rape when you consent...and when the Skins constantly bend over willingly, well...ya know.

Skins fans can't even enjoy the Draft the last few years. That would kill me.

Listening to WIP in Philly, they are not happy because they must have been looking at both players, now their stuck with that old retread Stephen Davis and maybe the worse receiving corp in the NFL!.:lmao:

THE BIG NEWS HERE IS THE FACT THAT PORTIS WILL MISS A FEW WEEKS OF THE REGULAR SEASON AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND IT WILL BE A NAGGING INJURY ALL YEAR LONG-

The Commanders are not disclosing that so as not to give teams preparing for them an edge in the regular season.

:laugh1: Someone stop this woman.

it's not jsut the Broncos. Everyone cleans the Skins out. Only the Moss trade occurs to me where they got the better end of that deal. Whehter it's through trades or signing RFAs, they get their ***** handed to em. Skins fans are numb to it.

I wonder how that affects their rooting, having like a grand total of three homegrown players in the starting lineup. I root for the homegrown guys more than anyone. I guess it's the team, doesn't really matter the players, but I really like seeing guys like Newman, Ware, Roy, and even guys like Crayton and Romo developing from the ground up.

I live in Atlanta, and Duckett is not what you think. He's always hurt and he tiptoe through the hole. Bad move for the skins IMHO.

Risco
He's missed 9 games in 4 years.

27 TD in 3 years.

Bad move my butt.

Brandon Jacobs had 7 last year. Stats in a vacuum are nice, but really don't give the entire picture.

I think Brandon Jacobs is a very valuable player for the Giants. He'll get 7 or more TDs this year too.

I never really thought Duckett would be a great tailback in the NFL. So far, he hasn't been.

I wonder if Washington's planning on using him as a traditional RB though. Sure, he'll be a short yardage guy. But I wonder if they may be intending to use him more like an H-Back type.......

I have doubts about his ability to spell Portis......Although he'd make an interesting change of pace.

I wouldnt give a 3rd for Duckett at all, I may give a 4th if he had agreed to a new contract ahead of time. But as it sits right now they traded a 3rd and possibly a 4th to rent duckett for one year.

I wonder if Portis is worse than they are saying?

Yeah but would you give up a 3rd and 4th rounder for what is essentially a goalline back, who will get maybe 3-5 carries a game? Pretty steep price if you ask me.

SOMEONE had to get him in range for those TDs, and that is the point. If Portis' injury is serious, and it definitly looks that way, who is going to get Duckett in range? He is not an every down back. He is not going to move the chains. Even as a change of pace back for Dunn his average was paltry. His TDs are nice, but they are a result of Dunn's larger body of work. A third for someone who is going to punch it in from three yards out is a bit much, even if I can see the reasons behind it.

All he has to do is look on the back, right?
