Contrary to what posters here think, SAS is a pretty smart guy and is usually pretty accurate when assessing our team whether we like it or not.

Skip, if anything, is a Cowboys homer not a hater.

That said, I honestly wouldn't be shocked if we ended up last or winning the division. We have the talent to win and we also have the capability to ruin games that we should win.

I expect another 8-8 year with us plating in yet another win or go home game. I just hope the 4th time is the charm.

The thing that kills me is how people take the bait from Stephen A when he smirks and laughs and goes on with glee how the Cowboys are a train wreck waiting to happen again next season - it's only a matter of time.

Well, every team except one will have a train wreck by the end of the year. How about that train wreck by the Broncos in the Super Bowl? They made the freaking Super Bowl! How about his boy Eli and that train wreck of a season?

I'd love to get on that show -- it would be entertaining to say the least.

He'd eat you alive.

Our Luck we'll stay relatively healthy and finish 10-6. Then we'll win one playoff game and get blown out in the 2nd one 44-6..Then where are we? Better? Worse?

Better at least you have evidence you can make it to the next level, than you can build on that, it gives you something. Sitting at 8-8 again means you did nothing correct. Going backwards would at least be a tad bit better, because now you know what to work on.

All of that is evidence and fact one way or the other. 8-8 with nothing to show of it is as stagnant as it gets, and like i said before Jerry should not have to fire Garrett, these coaches, these so called men, tehse so called guys WHO think they love the sport, SHOULD respect the sport and their teams and step aside on their own and THEY prove to me they are not man enough to do the right thing.

Worse.. because then we will be at the back end of the draft, Jerry will STILL think we are just one or 2 players away, and JG will keep his job since we made the playoffs. With all that said, we will have to wait until 2015 when they let more teams in the playoffs to make it. Even then, we might not get in. lol

He chickened out on debating me last year. Flat out turned tail and ran from it.

Did he chicken out like he was scared or did he see it as pointless to debate a casual fan?
Second, when people say they'd debate him as if they can hang with him, I'm not just talking about knowledge. There's a difference waging an Internet debate and waging a debate on live television. Believe me, I've been on television several times, and it's just a different world. Even the best and smartest people freeze when they have to get in front of a camera with the knowledge that you're talking to millions of people.
Stephen A. Smith is one of the best debaters on television. And then, he is a seasoned television professional. I don't know what your live debate skills are, but I wouldn't assume that they're better than Smith's.

Maybe they are. I just don't have anyway of knowing that.

So he said he wouldn't debate you or did he just ignore your request to a debate? There is a significant difference between the scenarios. I wouldn't blame if he ignored you, I'd imagine most of those national guys get challenged fans regularly and ignore them. It isn't surprising but if he responded back and said no that's a little different. IMO

Live debate with me as a caller. The topic was one he brought up, America's Team. I challenged him and there was interest and then he copped out.

I'd have mopped the floor with him.

Skip says the cowboys are about a 6 win team. and Stephen says they will finish in last place. and the sad part is that i can't say they are wrong. in fact i think they are right on the money.it's going to be a long year for the cowboys.6 and 10 may be being nice. time to blow up this team. the window has closed.

This falls in line with my 7-9 prediction. Not surprised. Hopeful but definitely well grounded in understanding the product.

What would your reaction be if they said it was a 10 win team, and would win the divison?

These two have no credibility, and are haters, I don't watch them or read anything from them. So I can't comment on what their reasonings are. But past history tells me they aren't sound.

Hater (s)? No...

Stephen A? Yes.

Skip is a die hard Cowboys fan.

Call me a skeptic, I just don't see a nationally televised sports broadcaster even entertaining the idea of debating some random fan. I guess it could happen but I just don't see it. These guys opinions must get challenged daily by thousands of fans. It's doubtful they take the time to read even a tenth of the questions, challenges and hate mail they receive, let alone agree to nationally televise a debate from one of those fan responses. You had to be vetted by ESPN, the Show, Steven A, it just can't see all that happening.

He'd eat you alive.

LOL!!! Nice freaking try!!!

First I have a television background so I wouldn't be intimidated by the stage, in fact I would relish it. I've been around stars forever in my work including, Jordan, Peyton, Tiger, etc and I've debated them on sports. Second, I'd do my homework and be prepared, third I'd go right after him and he'd be damn surprised.

Eat me alive...what that tells me is they would eat you alive because you already have that mindset of being intimated based on your comment.

God I wish I had the chance, the fact that you even think that tells me everything I need to know.
