If Brett Favre had a broken hand/pinky, would he have played against the Rams? And would he be playing this week?

I think you know the answer to those questions.

Clearly, we should have traded for Brett Favre.

Discuss.

wow. your dumb, go read whats actually wrong with Romo then do some research on which bone it is and how it effects a) his grip b) he gets sacked bone is broken...hes now on IR. c) shot gun or under center the snap snaps the bone...now he is ir.

what's up with the h8 bra?

no idea what "h8" is and why did you just call me a female undergarment?

and see my edit.

Playing hurt or injured doesn't make you "Tough".

Toughness is playing hurt/injured, but playing GOOD while you do it.

If Romo is unable to grip the ball then he wouldn't have played good. All we'd be doing is risking further injury. Favre might have played, but he would have stunk the field up.

I'm an American Indian, and i resist these terms, but dude, you've gone, and i mean gone completely off the reservation.

I guess you guys didn't read this in the "Woodson picks Bucs to win" thread.

Why would Darren Woodson pick the Cowboys? We are losers of our last 3 out of 4 games.

This team has zero heart, a ton of injuries and a questionable coaching strategy on both sides of the ball.

With Brett Favre, this team wouldn't have zero heart, or a ton of injuries (Favre would provide inspiration to our gutless, heartless team to play through injuries, since he'd be doing it), coaching wouldn't matter because he's Brett Favre and he can draw plays up in the dirt if necessary. Brett Favre's leadership and attitude would elevate both the offense and the defense. Special teams wouldn't matter because Brett Favre will throw a touchdown on 4th and 17.

Brett Favre is a superhuman. He can eat a million hamburgers and can live forever.

Farvre would have thrown 5 picks and lost us the game anyway but you would still be happy.

Gobbling a handful of vicodin and playing football is not heroic. No wonder he gets a pass for 'Brett being Brett'. If I was wasted off of meds for 17 years I'd probably play the same brand of football.

Yea...

but he's no Chuck Norris.

That's who we should replace Wade Phillips with.... Can you imagine if the Cowboys made Chuck Norris Head Coach... AND had Brett Favre as Quarterback?

hell... we would only need those two..

Norris + Farve = Championship

While we're at it, let's go ahead and get Adrian Peterson and all the other awesome players from other teams. We're sure to win then. Pffft!

Man, try to be realistic okay. We actually had a chance to get Brett Favre (and it wouldn't have cost a 1st, 3rd, and a 6th - er, well maybe Jerruh would've offered that).

Some of you guys are living in fantasy land.

Besides, Adrian Peterson is no Brett Favre.

You my friend are the one living in Fantasy Land. And I would think most members of this fan forum would certainly agree with me on that.

First, we have a franchise QB. Second, we have a franchise QB. Get my point?

And I most certainly did not compare AP to BF. The comparison I made was the notion of obtaining such a player.

Yeah, it's not like we could have really gotten Favre or that he would have played here. The whole reason he left GB was because he didn't want to be a backup.

The OP is definitely taking long tokes on some very nice drugs.
