So what exactly are players protesting?

You keep making the same lame argument. Winning the "popular vote" was never the objective in winning the presidency. Winning the electoral college was always the goal and so... a 306 to 232 victory over the wicked witch of the west, HRC is by all modern standards a landslide victory. Keep making my point that you live in denial. It's hilarious.:lmao::lmao2:

Of course you would go for the oversimplification in an election amongst 50 states, 1000s of counties, and 100s of 1,000,000's of people it is too dumbed down for my taste.

He lost the general by 2 points.

He won 7 states by less than 2 points including WI, FL, MI, and PA. 2 more by 3 points or less.

You can wave your hands at the electoral college but from a democratic standpoint --as in democracy not the party-- it was barely a win.

Godwin's Law: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler approaches 1" that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Adolf Hitler or his deeds.

You lose

Except those were actual ***** at the Charlottesville rally that he was saying there were good people at. It was not a moral equivalency which is the type of comparison that Godwin was alluding to instead it was an actual equivalency.

Further, no one said Hitler until you did so by your standard you lose.

You going for the copout is not surprising either though.

It pretty much boils down to Trump. He mocked John McCain for being a POW, he made fun of the disabled, he’s divided the country along racial lines with his Mexicans are a bunch of murdering rapists, he said there were good people on the **** side and then there was this:

“I did try and f--- her. She was married,” Trump says.
Trump continues: “And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’”
“I moved on her like a *****, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything."
“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

So people are upset that we have a President that does these kinds of things. His latest was calling out Puerto Rican’s as wanting handouts. It upsets people to see the President of the United States destroy the United States.
What a load of crap. You do realize these kneeling "protests" were in full force last season before Trump was even elected right?

You do realize Trump said and what I posted don't you?
Okay. Let me write it out in crayon for you.

The OP asked what the players are protesting and what can be done about it.

The players were protesting last season before Trump was elected.

The players were protesting this season before Trump called them out.

The players are still protesting now after he called them out.

So they've been protesting Trump this whole time.....for over the past year?

He won the election by a thin margin when looked at the state level as well as the amongst the general population. Further he did so against a godawful candidate. Your only hope in 2020 is that the DNC tries to play kingmaker again for Clinton.

Again he is a historically unpopular president from start to the status quo.

Thanks for the dumbed down interpretation though.

You realize that the protests blew up when Trump got involved right? That is the elephant in the room. MAybe you can trace that out in crayon too.

So before Trump got involved.....what were they protesting and what can be done about it? I still think most people are waiting for a coherent and logical answer to those questions.

Again... your same lame assertions. :muttley: I know you get fed that crap from external sources 24/7 but you are the one tuning into it and believing it. You have nobody to blame but yourself for your own delusional ideology.

What does that have to do with anything? It is clear that the uptick in protest participation was in response to Trump.

Further it could be argued that he is a symptom of what they have been talking about the entire thing. In that context the pandering to white supremacists definitely is at issue.

How so? Please explain.

You just stick to thinking Hillary Clinton won. If you want to stick up for your racist, labeling friend then you can carry on looking foolish like him.

Judging people soley based on race is wrong and that is exactly what he has been doing here.

But that's okay isn't it. As long as it fits the narrative that all white people are racist just because they were born white, then it's all okay on your end of the hall.

If it wasn't, people like you would have already told him how ignorant he is.

So in other words you don't have an explanation. Got it. They have been protesting a false narrative this whole time and there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it.

Let's compare sources then. I get my news primarily from the Economist, Christian Science Monitor, Foreign Policy, and Reuters. I watch no TV, listen to radio nor podcast for news outside of VICE news.

Trump's approval ratings are a matter of public record. I go to Real Clear Politics and 538 for that info.

Now how often do you watch Fox News? How often do you read Drudge, Breitbart or the Daily Caller? What radio news shows do you listen to? What podcasts do you watch?

I don't think she won. I also think she was a terribly flawed candidate and the DNC was far less democratic than than the GOP this past election. That played big and the dems made their own bed. That is besides the point though.

You said that because he was white his stance was ridiculous. Please explain how that makes sense. You going to run from that with this bait and switch?

They are protesting police brutality and impunity.

Trump plays a part in that. It should not be hard. As for false narratives I've posted the solutions to the problems twice. You guys ignore it and try to make it about Hillary like hearing a dog whistle.

No bait and switch.

I think it's ridiculous that a white man is going to tell another white man how they should feel towards another race. All the while he has never once shown evidence to ever gather any facts at all towards anyone he has addressed here to justifiably come to a conclusion about the kind of person they are. It's just race and that's it.

He is a pimp for the false narrative that I explained earlier and is trying to use being white as a moral high ground. So yes, it's even more ridiculous. Especially since his words and actions embodies everything leftists claim to despise.

As far as the other part of your post, yes. Hillary was an awful candidate that the DNC corruptly installed as the nominee. Their bit was the same bit that is pushed across in the race saga. She's a woman so she is entitled to your vote because well...she's a woman.

All these polls. They are a funny bunch to get a handle on.

Tell me something. I realize RCP uses an average on pretty much every poll that is made public. Well not every poll, but every so called reputable poll. Can you explain to me the methodology of these polls?
