Agree. Trump has been doing what he said he was going to do. He's not losing his base at all and his picked up a few more previously undecided.

I quoted RCP, not a liberal site, that showed all the polls. Rasmussen is always 5 points higher and despite that the average is still 38%.

You can cherry pick individual polls if it makes you feel better but that is poor science at best. You can even pretend that the only thing the protests do is negative but that does not make it so. What I have noticed from you guys is a decided lack of backing your word with anything. It's just self assuming assertion after self assuming assertion.

Repeal law enforcement bill of rights that grant police rights that citizens do not have protecting them from investigation and prosecution.

Prohibit investigations and prosecutions of police by police forces and prosecutors with a conflict of interest.

Review use of force standards and hold police to a higher standard. Fear is not an excuse for homicide by itself.

Prohibit ineffective and prejudicial police policies like broken windows and stop and frisk.

Require all police to wear body cameras at all times on duty and eliminate the officer from unilaterally turning it off.

Improve police training and pay.

End the militarization of police and carte blanche handing out of military weapons, vehicles, and equipment. It is one thing to have a SWAT team. It is quite another to make an entire department a SWAT team.

Prohibit arrest quotas and similar policies. In the same turn do not demerit for not making an arrest in both policy and practice.

It pretty much boils down to Trump. He mocked John McCain for being a POW, he made fun of the disabled, he’s divided the country along racial lines with his Mexicans are a bunch of murdering rapists, he said there were good people on the **** side and then there was this:

So people are upset that we have a President that does these kinds of things. His latest was calling out Puerto Rican’s as wanting handouts. It upsets people to see the President of the United States destroy the United States.

Catch, I think a LOT of what's going on can't even begin to be measured in fact. I think most of what we're all experiencing is "perception". Look, I'm not knocking any white person that feels a certain way about certain issues in this country. I want us to all come together.

However, as a black male, it angers me to NO END when I see cases like Brock Turner's Rape Case or Ethan Crouch's Vehicular Manslaughter Case ends with basically these kids getting a slap on the wrist whereas Brian Banks, at 16 years old, gets tried as an adult for a rape he did NOT commit and there was evidence supporting him and would've erroneously served almost 40 years if the girl hadn't been caught on tape lying - of course, he'd already lost 5 YEARS of freedom at this point. Then, you have our current president taking out an article in the NY Daily News in '89 about the Central Park 5, calling these guys killers, thugs, etc...........in a case where they hadn't even been tried yet. Of course, when they were all finally freed because of DNA evidence and the fact that at least 3 of the boys were originally coerced into giving guilty pleas, he kept fanning the flames stating they should've never been released, they deserved to die, etc............yet, he celebrates Sheriff Arpaio all of his racial profiling, breaking the law, etc.............

Again, what many in the black community perceive and what the white community believe is fact are smashing heads right now.

I’m white and as a white person I have no idea what it’s like to grow up black. I’m trying to learn and know that being a white person I was born at the 50 yard line (as Pop put it) so I’m trying at least. The rest of these yahoo’s don’t care and enjoy living the privileged life. Until they do care and try to understand they will stay racist but never admit it.
