That might be true, but I just think Meachem will end up being a better WR. He has more deep speed and very good size. Like I said as far as I am concerned there is Calvin Johnson and then Meachem is number 2. I like him more than Ginn as well.

Gonzalez is probably going to play his senior season at Ohio State. I heard him say repeatedly that he is looking forward to being a senior/team captain next year with Troy Smith and Ted Ginn gone.

That's true, I don't know but, as it stands right now, they are probably the top 3 WRs on the board. They probably all hold a 1st round grade. Now, they may not come out but the chances of them coming out as opposed to staying in are probably better then Meachem. Of course, finances can play a key role but any of those three, as it stands right now, are better suited to enter the draft based on where they are currently projected. For what it's worth, the list of Jarrett, Johnson and Ginn are not just my list. It's likely that most people have those three as the top three at this point. It's not a big deal. As you say, you are entitled to your opinion, I mine and I'm good with that. I can wait for the combine. However, I doubt Meachem is going to jump any of these three but you never know. It could happen.

What is really great about THIS thread is the amount of good receivers that will be available in the draft. Now it does seem that great college receiver doesnt equate to good pros but at least this draft the cowboys will have options. I still trust in Big Bill and his eye for talent. Antonio Bryant and Crayton are good receivers that BP drafted. Yes we know about the headaches Bryant cause but from a talent perspective it was a good pick.

You guys have to admit that each one of the receivers you have named have a chance to be very good in the league. Glenn is still a very good receiver and will a better line for the running game I think we can an even better team will a young receiver...a veteren receiver...a pro bowl TE and a very good third recevier in Crayton.

I actually think we will be better off without T.O next season because his production can be made up thru the rest of the team. We would love to get a Calvin Johnson or Dewayne Jarrett but if not then signing the titans FA receiver and drafting another one would actually be better than T.O. and probably cost the same amount of money.

I did not think Bill drafted Bryant.Points taken non the less.

Here is the list again of pretty good receivers that will be availabe. Bennet is good but Vince Young is not a very accurate receiver but I think would be good for Romo.

I think we would be better served by drafting a receiver but there is not a "big time" recevier available. I would love to see if they could get Andre Johnson in a trade but that's wishful thinking.

T.O will be back next year but i do think we should draft a young stud at WR because obviously our receivers are getting up there in years. We have no chance in hell at Johnson, Jarrett, or Ginn but maybe we do have a shot at Sydney Rice. i would be more than satisfied with him.

They'll both be back, ... the WR position is a positive right now. With Glenn, Owens & Crayton it is a big positive.

We have other positions that are negatives, ... they are the ones that will be addressed in the off-season.

I'd take Dwayne Jarrett over any receiver in college except for Calvin Johnson.

The contract that Jerry Jones gave T.O. has turned out to be brilliant. With 3 games left, now is the time for T.O. to put-up, and hopefully shut-up about how he's treated unfairly when he brings alot of the negative energy upon himself. Now's the time for T.O. to prove that he's worth keeping as a player. If he proves worthy by prodcing and taking us far into the playooffs, then it will be easy for Jones to keep him. But if T.O. proves unworthy from this point forward then Jones can dump him without sacrificing the cap. Under this second scenario, we would have a hole at WR to fill. So who in free agency will be available, should we need to fill the potential hole left by T.O.'s departure?
