Somebody in charge (even Wade) should step up and answer this: Why is RW a starter

He had cracked rips. That's painful. No WR would play well having that injury--not even the great Deon Sanders.:

Seems to me that someone with cracked ribbs should not be playing or playing this soon.

Jason Witten would disagree with you.

And, by nature, you are the type who reads redundant posts and then whines?
Must be nice. And for Mansta, too. But his negativity comes from living in a place called Mary Land.

:D

Maybe I'm feeling cyinical after reading your post because I considered it somewhat dogmatic.:)

Because Jerry Jones, $45M and all the UT lovers said so. It doesn't take much intelligence to figure that one out.

Because he's very obviously one of the two best receivers on the team.

In what sense is it obvious he is one of the two best WRs on the roster presently. It isn't based on current levels of production per snap of the ball.

Yes, we get that you don't like Roy Williams and will make ridiculous statements in order to express your dislike.

Bingo.

I will admit it would seem reasonable for the offense to give him more time and opportunities. That's what picks and salary will do for you. Give you more time. Sooner or later he'll have to produce but that time is not yet.

It's one year and counting right now - and we're not talking about a rookie. This is Roy's 6th year in the league. All this talk about a new offense and QB-WR timing is a bunch of bunk at this point. They have had a long enough period to make an informed decision based on Roy's level of production on the field. We don't have to guess anymore - he produces about 2-3 catches and 30 yards a game and scores about 1-2 TDs a year.

Jason Witten is a grown man. Roy Williams is basically a thief/fraud - no way he puts his health on the line for the team. So if a ball exposes him even a little bit, out come the alligator arms.

He just wants to look like he's tough coming back quickly (3 weeks b/w games) after bruising some ribs. The truth is that he is little more than a scrub right now. A scrub whose production could readily be replaced by a UDFA rookie.

He's starting because he's better than the alternatives on the bench (see: Flo Adams), and because they have to get something out of this abortion of a trade. RW has a better chance of exploding for huge games than Crayton does.

Theo, I know you've been a big supporter of Roy and the trade from the get go and your training teaches you creative ways to avoid admitting what is obviously true once you've already made the opposite determination in your mind (usually based on money) - so I'll give you a pass on your ridiculous support of a terrible player. It seems as though the same thing happened with you and your analysis of the Oklahoma Roy Williams.

In all serious, if you just invested $45 million in someone/something you are going to give that investment every opportunity before you pull the plug.

I have been a huge RW supporter and I am still holding out that he is going to be ok. I will admit the initial return on the investment has not been what I expected or wanted.

Regardless NFL owners don't make a habit of flushing $45 million in the toilet after not even a full season.

I'm sure you do, does the cold bother you?

No, it is quite pleasurable.

Now go away while grownups discuss football.
