Honestly if the boys are thinking about signing him for 30 million thats a mistake. Let's look at the facts MB3 is back up RB that made the pro bowl. He isn't all pro at the RB position. He hasn't even broken 1,000 yards yet. This isn't the inflated free agency period where everyone gets paid more than their worth. If he wants more money tell him to go get it from Miami. I say we trade him and move up in the draft get DMac trade for CJ and Pacman and call it a super bowl championship.

MB3 isn't the constant factor that we need on the team out of everyone on offense he is prob the piece that doesn't fit. We are a passing offense we put up points fast. Us trying to grind it out and run the ball 30 times with him isn't going to win us anything. Him and his agent need to get thrown out of VR. Honestly him getting for 30 million would be like Patrick Crayton getting for 30 mill.

Let's see if the rookie is DMAC who is obv more physically gifted and talented than MB3 yea. We don't have to trade in to the number 1 spot lets go around pick four or something that way the price drops a lil.

It would be really hard to maintain that average but say he averages around 4.3 and then gets 19 carries a game like Tomlinson got last year, that would equal..........1307 yards. 1,500 was probably stretching it but 1,300 was for sure a definite possibility.

Usually, when a guy does get more carries, he has a bigger chance of getting injured. I might be going out on a limb there though.

You don't think McFadden would EVER get his chicken legs taken out from underneath him. At least Barber is more compact, and tougher btw.

Look at Reggie Bush and his injury problems he has had since Bush and McFadden are close to the same build, with DMAC a little thicker AND 2 inches taller.

I hated the fact he signed drew to be his agent. but i don't think jerry should shell out that kind of money to a guy who runs as reckless as he does. as good as he is and as he started to look good compared to julius i thought it was a mistake to draft him.

Yes, he will run past some defenders. But once again, this is the NFL. Every position is a lot stronger, faster & smarter in the NFL than in college.

I am happy we have MBIII, but it would appear that if all things are equal, that Michael Turner is currently a better back than MBII because he appears to be more of an every down back, and more of a home run threat than MBIII.
