I am happy we have MBIII, but it would appear that if all things are equal, that Michael Turner is currently a better back than MBII because he appears to be more of an every down back, and more of a home run threat than MBIII.
Based on what?

:lmao2: You proved my point for me.

You cant even compare AP and DMAC. COMPLETELY different runners.

AP is like Barber, exact same running styles except AP is MUCH faster than MB3.

How can you say DMAC is better than AP when DMAC hasnt even taken a snap in the NFL and AP had one of the best seasons a Rookie RB has ever had and has become the #1 RB in the eyes of some people (not mine).

He averaged 4.8 yards per carry on 12 carries a game last year. It would be really hard to maintain that average but say he averages around 4.3 and then gets 19 carries a game like Tomlinson got last year, that would equal..........1307 yards. 1,500 was probably stretching it but 1,300 was for sure a definite possibility.

MB3 has not lost a fumble in 477 carries. Thats every carry he has had in the NFL.

Usually, when a guy does get more carries, he has a bigger chance of getting injured. I might be going out on a limb there though.

he fumbled like 4 times in the last three games of the season whether he loses them or not he is still fumbling the ball.

Me too.

MB3 will be a great back. Exactly what the Cowboys need, the toughness that MB3 brings. 40-60 mill is crazy but 30 mill is definitely fair.

They arent in the same draft. Moot point.

College numbers mean NOTHING when translated to the NFL. The talent is just sooooo much better in the NFL.

I dont see how you can compare AP to DMAC.

I bet you were one that thought Reggie Bush would be a superstar and also thought he was an every down back too huh?

3 fumbles last season and his carries went up if his carries continue to go up what will that tell you. Or do you not correlate the increase in fumbles to the increase of carries he had last year.

Adrian Peterson is a better back than McFadden coming out of college, and probably forever. McFadden is very talented, and will be drafted high and make some team VERY happy, I think.

But he doesn't have it like Peterson has it.

Noone does. He's simply stunning.

OMG! Yes I do correlate that. Every person with more touches will have more fumbles. that is a fact. The defense does have player that know how to strip. fumbles are part of the game. they happen.

do you think Mcfadden will never fumble? ever?

I thought Reggie Bush would be good although he is lacking in the run department the checks out of the back field 70+ his rookie year and the punt returns. I think your getting just what you expected once he stops trying to be Barry Sanders and runs thru the holes he will become a super star. Why are you throwing Reggie Bush in to the conversation he isn't even comparable to DMac. DMac did play in the SEC and dominated there which is believed to be the fastest defense in college nad produce the most pro ready defensive players

THANK YOU!

If anyone saw him in the pro bowl, they would realize this.

AP was COMPLETELY UNREAL.

DMAC and Bush arent comparable? Why not? Neither like running through the tackles, they like "running away from defenders", have practically the same build with DMAC 2 inches taller, which isnt always good for RBs.

Yeah, they do produce the most pro ready DEF players but exactly how many? The NFL is the best of the best. There will always be weak spots in college defenses and those weak spots drastically disappear in the NFL. LBers are better, DL is better, secondary is better. Everything better.

No i never said OMG DMac is God and he willz never fumble !1!111!!!11!!1!

no to be more serious this is the last time i will responsed to your post in the thread. If you feel that fumbles come up with carries going up and if he goes up to 19 -20 carries per game instead of his average of 12 wouldn't that be a RB with a fumbling problem that shouldn't be making 30 mill a yeaR?

Ironic that you say that, when in the post above, you think Barber is getting a contract in the neighborhood of 30M a "yeaR."

LAST YEAR STATS
Bush- 7 fumbles (157 carries) 1 every 22
Portis-6 fumbles---1 every 54
Edgerrin- 5 fumbles---1 every 64
Jacobs- 5 fumbles---1 every 40
Gore- 4 fumbles---1 every 65
AP- 4 fumbles---1 every 59

my point is that everyone fumbles. and MB3 has a better carry to fumble ratio than any of these guys. (1 every 68)

And that means that McFadden will be the better NFL back because of how they might have been picked had they come out at the same time?

I will have to beg to differ with you. DMAC is not the player Peterson is. He is not nearly as physically gifted.

Did you watch the Pro Bowl?

16 for 129 and 2 TDs

Watch this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=QaXYJIpbsOI

Watch the cut he makes at the 29 second mark after breaking a tackle. This is why he was unreal in the pro bowl & during the whole season.
