Sources: Hopkins would welcome trade to Cowboys; willing to make financial concessions

Right in your face with a Cowboys!

Prescott would put up like 24 points a game in the playoffs with that offense.

Still going to need to throw it to your teammates though. Or just hand it off a lot.

Archer just said the same thing. He said not to expect Hopkins, Jeudy, or OBJ.
Never should have. We'll either get another James Washington-quality receiver or continued to be linked to these bigger names until we take a receiver in the draft.

You think OBJ can get a 1000 yards when he has not done that in his last 5 seasons? You do know the last 3 years OBJ season ended with two ACL injuries and he missed all of last season. Can you give me a player that has come back from two ACL injuries?

I don't care.. injury is the only thing that would make Cooper better at this point. Other than that, they don't match up at all. But yet we have to listen to how we had a stud here. lol 865 yards in his final year and people are still crying! Im sure he can do better than 865.

He's an 1100 yard WR. He hasn't come close to the numbers OBJ or Hopkins put up in their careers. These are #2 WR numbers. Cleveland will find out soon enough. If we want to compare them at 30 years old with injuries.. lol sure. But over the course of a career.. it's not close at all.

Cooper came into the league one year later than OBJ

But Cooper still with big lead:
Cooper 8236 yards
OBJ 7367 yards

Lifetime yardage? lol Give me a break. Let me know when he hits the 1400 yard mark?

Lol! No leverage. Try there’s absolutely no incentive for them trading him. They have 23m in Cap space and FA is mostly over. They just want to burn 14m in cap… for minimal compensation! This is all just nonsense and gibberish creating a scenario where there isn’t one. Sources said… what soarce… the white knuckle drunk at the bar who really wishes it would happen!
The perception that they would be interested in moving him has been out there for a while. Perhaps its false but it's more than a drunk at the bar. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/b... is still under contract, cut him to save cash.

Why do the Cardinals want to trade DeAndre Hopkins?

Hopkins is still under contract for two more seasons, and is set to carry a $30.75 million cap hit in 2023 and a $26.2 million hit in 2024. Some believe trade rumors for Hopkins are a last ditch effort for the Cardinals to recoup some value for the wide receiver, and they may cut him to save cash.

Eh, we just spent a whole season developing one at all 3 positions. Many can contribute much sooner if only given one receiver position to learn that first season!
Good point.

You just don’t like Cooper. That is ok but don’t try to give me the OBJ is better argument.

You can keep saying it, but you've got nothing to back it up.

Cooper has much better stats, better PFF rankings, has earned bigger pay, which tells you how the league values them.

These facts aren't helping his argument. Go back to that year or two OBJ was relevant.

He put up 865 yards in his last year here. lol That's real value!

Belt says cowboys aren’t as interested in Hopkins as Hopkins is in dallas

Says Dallas will not trade a 1 or 2 and probably not even a 3 for Hopkins
I’d trade a 3rd in a heartbeat if he would take concessions on salary
That’s a no brainer

Not negatively supporting, or pro-supporting this trade, but people thinking just draft a WR need to pay attention to the history of rookie WR's.
Like OL, they generally take time to develop unless they are just monster talents.
That is the rule and there are exceptions, but just saying...
Each draft is different but the guys most likely to be there at 26 aren’t the impact guys right away types to me
Anything can happen but this draft I don’t see a stud sliding to 26

More that what Hopkins has put up either of the last 2 seasons and Cooper was playing through a knee sprain and a foot issue I believe!
