Anyone else seeing a little history repeating here?

I agree the Boyz' made a Faustian bargain with TO-
but these leaks & stories are beginning to sound VERY familiar.

Change the names, teams, QB's, and locations, & you'll
get SF, or Philly redux.

I think TO's one of those guys who actually THRIVES on
conflict & tension, alot like Reggie Jackson & those old Yankee teams.
He loves the tension, the controversy, & the attention focusing
on whether he can come through, or fold under the pressure.
He needs that spotlight- whether its positive or negative!

In any case, who knows if he's doing this consciously or not, I think the stories are mostly true.
BTW- this doesn't mean I agree with this thing getting blown
out of proportion
Simple answer- just go out & win against the Giants!

we don't need pacman maybe for depth at the most. I believe we need Owens because Romo isn't good enough with out him. But keeping the guy is not worth all of this.

Yeah, it does. Especially considering that he was going to be a free agent and depart (via his own choice), only to have his agent botch the paperwork (which is when he requested the trade).

Add another team to that list-the Ravens...remember how he initially was traded to them by the Niners, but Owens did everything he could(and successfully) to get that trade voided and get sent to Philly. He even threw Kyle Bohler under the bus on national tv to make his case.

In the end, it was already too late for the Ravens to get a good receiver(all of the UFAs were taken), which was a glaring hole for them. Otherwise, a good receiver could have taken them far in that season. Instead, it set them back that year, and a couple more years after that.
